Re: Small Carry Strap for board after self rescue?

How far? I've walked farther before but it was probably half to a quarter mile this past weekend. I realize that's not THAT far some some of you (damn kids). The reason I'm asking is because I tweked my lower back. I screwed up my lower back many years ago carrying a 17' kayak twenty some yard...

Small Carry Strap for board after self rescue?

Could someone recommend a small harness, rope, strap or tricks to carry a board and foil a long distance easily? Had a self rescue yesterday when the wind die and had to walk with my board, foil and kite a longer distance than usual. I’m thinking of something that could easily attach to the harness ...

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

If Aluula isn't owned by OR, other manufacturers will probably start using it soon. I believe Naish was the first to release a kite with "Quad-Tex" (quadruple ripstop) canopy. Now there's plenty of other manufacturers who use it and plenty of those who still don't. Is quadriple ripstop necessary, ma...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Norcom irony is just ignorance or complete different style riding where you dont mind excess power Don't mind excess power? My style of riding with Peaks is mostly in light to ultra-light wind. Perhaps check my other posts where I'm using Peaks with a 100L board and GoFoil M280/M200 wings. Have you...

Re: Which PANSH kite for landboarding?

I was there, I bet a lot of people have thought about Pansh. The price of these kites always looked soooo good! I mean how bad could they be, right? So I decided to try the smaller, cheaper model, the Pansh Genesis 3m. Maybe I could use it for teaching? This kite didn't fly correctly right out...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Armin, don't listen to them! Please make a 6.5m! Or a 6m and 7m if you want to take double my money.

I have 4,5,8,11m and I'll probably pickup the 3m but definitely don't want the 13m. The 8m is good but I think the 6/7m would be GREAT!

Re: Time for new winter boots. Atan again?

I’ve used Atans for many years. Loved them! They were never very durable but the way they felt was worth the price when I wore through them. Grabbed a pair of the Kevlar sole booties right when they came out. On first or second sesh the front of the boot split right down the seam. Waited OVER A YEAR...

Re: Hand screw connecting mast to board

These are interesting. Look pretty beefy, come in 316 stainless and have M8 threads. But there's no price on their site. Though priced at $65/ea on amazon. https://www.kippusa.com/us/en/Products/Adjustable-Handles/Cam-Levers/K0645-Cam-Levers-in-stainless-steel-with-internal-and-external-thread/K0645...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

does the 5m Peak drift well, or is the 4m better as the winds are a bit stronger when using the 4m? I'm still debating which one to get, the 5m or 4m, argh :) I have both. They both drift equally well and are extremely fun. If you want to ride lighter winds, get the 5m if you want to ride stronger ...
