Re: Hydrofin? Any insights on this?

This reminds me of an idea I had of attaching my GoFoil Iwa wing just a few inches from the bottom of the surfboard. Sure, I know it wont work. I've used my Moses 12" mast and it's quite hard to ride once the chop gets above ankle high but still works in shallow water. But with a huge SUP wing...

Re: Apple Watch 4 GPS Tracking App

Tried a few, Sessions seemed to not want to sync for me at times and didn't put the GPS log into the Activity app. Currently using Workouts++ and it's working fairly well. You can select plenty of different sports though only certain ones will give you live speed, distance details. So I just use Cyc...

Re: Anyone here windsurf foil?

but I think it would be fun to get good at windsurfing and foil windsurfing looks more fun than regular windsurfing. Windsurfing is easy to start learning but very hard to progress. With a big floaty board and a small sail you'll be shlogging around on your first try but getting on a plane, hooking...

Re: 2 lines 2.5m stunt foil kite adaptation to 4 lines bar

Oh dear. They refuse to give you the line plan which costs them nothing and would rather you go to paypal lol. Shouldn't they be grateful and helpful that you are willing to potentially fix the kite with a little help? Yeah, I don't believe that I was even a dick about it on the first message I sen...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Anyone compare the Peak3 12m to the Peak4 11m yet? Wondering if I should upgrade for those 6mph-10mph days I use the 12m on. How are you finding the peak 4 compared to the peak 3? I was going to get a peak4 8m for foiling in sub 10 knots, and wondering if I should just get an 11m. I felt that the P...

Re: 2 lines 2.5m stunt foil kite adaptation to 4 lines bar

Why not just get a 3m Pansh Genesis for $89? DO NOT DO THIS! I just picked the 2019 3m for my girlfriend to teach her and the kite does not fly out of the bag. It barely flies with the depower all the way in. BARELY FLIES. It’s junk. But it was cheap. JUNK!!! I got a 5 m Pansh Genesis and I am happ...

Re: Anyone here windsurf foil?

Those big wings will all work with a board like the Naish hover 142? Kiting isn't banned on the lake, but to go on the water need a board with a large enough volume to support my weight with no wind. Oh you want to use the Naish SUP BOARD, I thought you were talking about Naish wings; my mistake. I...

Re: Anyone here windsurf foil?

I only kite with my SUP foil these days. I also windsurf foil and occasionally SUP foil. I have the GoFoil with Nalu, Kai, Iwa and Maliko 200 wings. When it's 6-15mph, I prefer to kite with the Iwa wing. If it's 14-18mph, I like the Kai wing. I don't use the Maliko to kite and I really don't care fo...

Re: 2 lines 2.5m stunt foil kite adaptation to 4 lines bar

They can't be "too" long if the trim is "right". I am guessing you are saying they are too long because you then can't sheet in enough to turn the kite, which indicates that C and Z are too long or alternately maybe B is too short. Yes, I meant too long as I can't sheet in enough to turn the kite. ...
