Re: No More Droplets on Go Pros :-)

Wish I had the chance to try the XClear. I ordered it a month ago from the UK and it never arrived. No correspondence from them for tracking info, refund, nothing.
So I had to file a claim with PayPal for a refund.

Buyer's beware, these guys don't seem legit.

Re: Click bar, small problem, check yours.

Yeah I'm now on my second season with an original '17 Click Bar and I'll confidently say I won't change out for another (current) brand's bar offering. I don't think it requires anymore maintenance than a standard bar. You ARE supposed to flush any bar after saltwater use if you want it last more th...

Re: NHP vs Monarch

I think NHP has too much rocker for anything other than being fully lit for their recommended weight use chart. I did like mine powered, but with varying conditions often turning light or less than ideal, I had to bail on mine after a season. I found this very similar to several Shinn boards I've ow...

Rebuild the bar with the new parts, sell it, and buy something that won't fail after 25 days use. Walk away. 25 days use is nothing, like others here I can use a bar that many times in a month.
THIS.

Re: Fastest way how to set up your kite

Both work. I find just winding works better for me. Cleaner, seems to be less line twists and the lines spool off the bar when I'm setting up. I used to try to speed rig before, it's just not worth making a mistake in the sake of gaining an extra 90 seconds on the water. Something to consider if you...

Re: Fastest way how to set up your kite

Yeah this might be necessary for some small, remote (boat) or difficult launches but walking the lines out once and connecting to the kite might add all of 1 minute to the process?

Patience grasshopper.

Re: Problem with Ratchet Straps Tightening

KiterDon, Yeah that was an issue I had with very thick 7mm booties and size 11 feet. (US). This was a problem riding in the spring when the water was nearly freezing. Then I bought NP Elite 3mm boots as someone here said they were super warm. The thinner boots work much better and my feet have never...

Re: Naish Repair Hack

Yeah on any kites that run Boston valves you have to be pretty cautious with sand getting in that O ring. Pumping my 14m Pivot a couple weeks ago I could feel the kite way softer when I was ready to launch. I went back and checked the valve and the O ring was actually unseated and a some sand was in...
