Re: The fight against smelly gear

A good dehumidifier and some freshwater does the thing for me I turn it inside out, hang it half folded over a bar. Then you avoid the streching. After a couple of hours i turn it back to normal and dry it overnight. No problem of smell whatsoever. If I'm away from home and dry it outdoors I always...

Did it get much better when it evolved into the supermodel?
I would like to see an independent, honest review with the 2021 Pivot up against a Supermodel.

I'm sure Supermodel is an awesome kite too. I really want to try one, especially in the 14m size.

Re: Aftermarket Kite Bags - Any Recs?

Another vote for the Mystic compression bags. Really tough ripstop, great shoulder straps, no zippers, place for your bar and two sizes to choose from. I take these when I travel. Much lighter than the stock bags and I like to protect my kites while stuff is getting thrown into a cramped rental van.

Re: Naish Drive Carbon with Boots?

I have a Drive Carbon and if I had to gamble on boots/no boots, I don't think I'd risk it. The Drive Carbon does seem built well and all, but compared to several boot specific boards it seems not nearly as built up. Maybe I'm wrong........my Axis Limited was carbon, thin and lightweight too. I think...

Re: How to remove hardshell harness paint?

Just wrap it.

Get some 3m 1080 vinyl. It's super easy to do.

Agree the factory hardware if mostly garbage from most board companies. If upgrading from the factory M6, go titanium. Lighter, stronger, and more corrosion resistant than stainless.
