Re: Why does nobody make narrow boards anymore?

I agree with nothing2see. I think rocker line plays more into the speed factor than width. Langeree is using pretty big 55mm fins too. My 2020 Monarch came with smaller 45mm fins. I called Naish to try to buy some bigger 55 fins, they sent me some 55 G10 demo fins free of charge! They really made th...

Re: Pivot evolution

What sort of low end does the 14m have then ? For an 85kg rider (Shinn Monk 134cm) would it work on flat water in 11/12mph on a twin tip ? What's the top end on the 14m like - 23/24mph ? Looks like a good kite for old school board off's etc Bill, The low end is good, as good as my Contra 15 was, bu...

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

The Mystic compression bags have been doing the trick for me. 2 comfortable shoulder straps and the bags are much lighter and less bulky than the factory kite bags. There's an internal horizontal pocket at the top of the bag as well as an external vertical pocket for a bar on the side of the bags. ...

Re: Hatteras closed. Who will get the money back?

They've been assholes for 20 years, no surprise they would pull some kind of shit and try to keep refunds.

We've had issues with them before. They are not accommodating in the slightest....

Re: New TT - Regular Raptor/ Naish / North?

I'm a gear whore let's get the obvious out of the way right off the bat. Buy to try is something that is necessary really where I live without a kite shop/demo anywhere close. So no biggie, I flip them if I'm not all in. I've owned too many twin tips, including: Liquid Force Pickle fork Liquid Force...

Re: Naish Stomp newer models

What is it that you don't like about the Monarch? I would have thought it is perfect especially at under 20 knots (if anything you might want to go smaller over 20 knots unless you are unhooking). The Monarch rides bigger than its length. The Stomp will be worse in low wind Yeah spot on. The Monarc...

Yep, pull that trash off.

Save it for if you ever get a kite that requires the high Y or sell the bar down the road.

Re: Drone's 2020

I've been watching and reading on drones for a few years now. It's always been on my list to get one, but the non-waterproof is a deal breaker. Not just for kiting but for any sports I do. (mtb, snowboard, fishing, etc.) All scenarios I've ruined phones just by having them along doing these sports. ...
