Re: New twintip board size?

41cm is a pretty good standard width for your weight (width is more important than length). I am 73kg and ride a 134/41 Naish Motion in that wind range.

Re: What is the warmest female wetsuit

I have a 6/4 Pro Limit Vapor. They are really flexy and don´t affect my riding. Mobility is no issue. Obviously a 3/2 still feels even better...

Re: Summer + autumn UK wetsuit for water 10-14 C

I would take 5/4 or 5/3 without a hood. For the lower temps you can layer up with a hooded vest (usually 1 -1,5 mm vest with a hood). If it is still too cold add a windbreaker or neopren hoodie, that adds a lot of warmth (with this you could go down to 8 degrees or even lower, don´t forget boots and...

Re: Pivot or Bandit?

Yes, the cloth is heavier but Naish was able to reduce heavy Dacron reinforcements in certain areas due to the durability of the material, e.g. trailing edge and framing of the struts. So they kept the weight overall or were even able to reduce it.

Re: Pivot or Bandit?

I’d say light pressure and quick turning. I only do landing loops and you can loop it very quickly. Same in waves.

All Pivot models from 2017 upwards have the Quadtex which is nice. Current model has the new thread on the front tube, so it can be pump very hard.

Re: Pivot or Bandit??

Hard to decide if you cannot try them both. They are both great and cover everything you are asking. My best kite buddy rides Bandit and I tried them a couple of times, I ride Pivot. They feel different due to different shapes. The Bandit is somewhat more C-shape. The question is what you prefer (or...

Re: Best 6m for strong Wind freeride/wave

2018 and 2019 Slash. Have search on this forum. There are one or two threads on the Slash, with users talking about the jumping qualities. Good height with somewhat less hangtime than a Pivot. Hangtime still is sufficient for me. Easy handling in rough conditions. Lots of fun to slash 🙄 around on a ...

Re: Best 6m for strong Wind freeride/wave

That´s my option as well (in 5 and 7m). Lots of fun on the twin tip being a dedicated wave kite. Jumps pretty well.

Re: Pivot Quiver recommendations?

Just keep in mind that the Pivot is more powerful than your Park. 8m Pivot has the range of the 9m Park. I took a meter less on all sizes when I went from Park to Pivot.
