Re: new naish kite Triad

My assumption is that it is going to replace the Ride. Same user profile but with 3 Struts instead of 2.

Re: Kitesurfing destination with non kiting partner/friends?

Tuscany/Italy (Grosseto, Castiglione della Pescaia). Has quite reliable thermic winds in summer which are not too strong. You have to kitesurf in designated zones but that is OK. Warm, beautiful, great food. Lot of great cities around to visit.

Re: Kitesurfing destination with non kiting partner/friends?

Portugal could be an option. Various spots on the west coast plus Algarve. Windy season May-Sept. Not 100% Wind guarantee. Highest probability in Guincho close to Lisbon, but that is not a beginner spot. Nova Vaga, Costa Caparica is more beginner friendly. Beautiful beach, lots of beach bars and res...

Yes, it does. It came out for the 2017 season when Naish introduced Quadtex.

Re: Naish Pivot 7/9 or 8/10

As you already have the 12m I would go for 9/7 to have a nice coverage for all winds and good gaps between the sizes. I am 73 kg and I ride 11m/8m Pivot. Below that 7/5 Slash, because it is a little less powerful. If it was for a Pivot to add another smaller kite I would go for 6m, which I had befor...

I think he uses stock Naish bars, so it is either 20m or 24m. I would assume it is 24m.

Re: Naish Pivot

If you stay with Naish bars, on the Torque ATB bar you can move the clam cleat up and down and adjust the throw to your preference. On the BTB you could either adjust the fixed stopper or add the movable stopper.

Re: naish pivot 14m

I think it depends to what kind of kite you compare it. When you compare it to delta shaped freeride Kites like XR5 or Rebel they probably have a similar windrange in the same size. When you compare it to C-Shaped Hybrid Kites go a meter down.

Re: How fun is kiting in Tarife in Levante?

Never seen somebody kiting there or setting up his gear. It is full of rocks. Go to the usual places at Valvaqueros like the ION station. Easy to set up, parking lot, nice cafe and then head out a bit.
