Bloody hell - some of you guys know how to go off topic... Bruno has left the building... now lets talk about Elvis, were did you spot him last kite surfing? Did not realize he was affiliated. So there's economic motivation for the filth..?? Even worse! Apologies for the OT. Was debating whether to...

Bruno, who cares what you think about what people ride, if i want advice on surrender and smelling of garlic i'll give you a call fat bloke: you've got to be kidding. To bring your idiotic, ignorant & irrelevant insults to this forum in the middle of a rare & interesting discussion with the primary...

You can't really go wrong with any of the top end A brands these days. You need to try a few on to see which one fits your body best.

I'm loving my Ripcurl E-Bomb.

Have fun sweating it out in the shops getting in and out of a few of them.. probably the least fun you can have in a surf shop! :bye:

The flapping is reason enough not to get the 06 as far as I'm concerned. really? can you explain to us the exact harm caused by the luffing of a sail/kite, or is this just the latest aural fashion? Hey Zero, No fashion.. just reason enough for me not to buy it. The 07 does not flap and has lots of ...

the board looks promising. anyone taken it out in overhead to double overhead waves? how does it do at highspeeds down the line?

my local conditions are mostly slop.. perfect for a fish, but i'd like to know it can handle more without getting too squirly.

Held a 9m 07 in my hands on the beach today. Nice looking kite. Pretty good value for money I'd say. Buddy of mine was flying it. He was happy. The annoying flapping of the 06 seems solved. The flapping is reason enough not to get the 06 as far as I'm concerned. The bar looks good. Stopper ball look...

Both are amazing. Neither is pushing wave riding in any way (yet). Arron is a competition guy. Safe, smooth, radical, and especially focused on the trophy. All good. He's got plenty of time to do it his way! Ruben can do all that if he wants... but really, he should be followed on a well funded trip...

one last thing.. luls while heading through the impact zone just suck. BUT the good new is, they are way easier to deal with (and less expensive) on a kite than on a windsurfer! 8)

never ever ever crash your kite when it is really hairy. that means kite more conservatively. if you do crash.. hand on the safety. i've actually bodysurfed behind my kite as it was getting push hard by the waves.. but you have to watch out that you don't get to much pressure in the canopy.. otherwi...
