Re: Moses 2019

So I’ll put another plug in for Stringfellow’s Moses surf fuselage replacement (“743” as Grigorib likes to call it) Gigorib’s 743 weighs in about 100 grams more than the already heavyish discontinued Moses 749 fuselage. The one Stringfellow sent me weighs about 200 grams less than the 749. I have no...

Re: Moses 2019

Mine is Stringy’s too. I just needed to give it a name, and since it measured 743mm long, it’s a good name Moses 749 fuselage 893g Stringy’s 743 fuselage 989g I think it’s pretty useful for Moses board owners or for anyone doesn’t want to move mast switching between the wings. You might want to che...

Re: Moses 2019

When you get a chance, can you weigh it for us please. Thanks! Ok, I get 896 grams for the stock (old) Moses fuselage and 717 grams for the Stringfellow fuselage. That’s 11 oz. You can see how much father forward I mounted the mast on my Grove Skate. Normally I’d have it mounted with the rear plate...

Re: Moses 2019

I can get a 743 fuselage to anyone interested. It features mast positioned 40mm forward compared to 749 which allows: - using existing fixed holes on a board to be able to ride 633/790/873 and not having to drill new ones further to the back of the board - not moving mast when switching between 590...

Re: Goove Skate foilboard, durability and build quality

Last wish, move the tracks back another 2cm. I still mount the 633 way back on this board and the front V-straps way forward. My feeble 2c. Good point on the track position, I am alright with mine as I weigh 90kg, and my 633 sits 2 cm from the rearmost end of the track, another sailing buddy who is...

Re: Efoil now shipping....anyone tossing their kite?

No doubt we will get at least a couple of these on the OBX for the adventure outfitters like Kitty Hawk Kites (maybe Real) to offer lessons. Will be interesting to see how they hold up in rental/lesson operations. FWIW, my next play toy is going to be a paraglider for dune soaring. Less $, way more ...

Re: Goove Skate foilboard, durability and build quality

Thought I would add something here. I have the standard 120cm Groove Skate that I ride almost exclusively in shallow water (obx) with the 633/483/71 cm. Both the board and wing handle plenty of those unplanned abrupt groundings at speed without the slightest show for wear and tear (of course it’s a ...

Re: Moses T38 vs T22

Hehe.. looks are important. No big win up on the rocker of the Skate? I would like to get a T38 based on the overall impression I have, but am concerned that the Skate's rocker would be a good thing to have. Having gone between the T38 (129cm) and T22 (106cm) I also feel the Skate of 120cm would be...

Re: Groove Skate issue

My only issue has been (still) waiting for my board to show up, but that was expected from the get go. Figure about 2 months from order to delivery. According to my tracking # mine has been (and is still) sitting at a Poste Italiane shipping depot in Milan for over a week awaiting its delivery to t...
