Re: Too many mistakes to list

Saw a big yellow Cabrihna kite. Paused the video, got the popcorn! Wasn't disappointed. :cool2:

Looks expensive.
With every right. This is bleeding edge technology. Just because you can’t afford it doesn’t make it over priced.

Racers are a funny bunch, in any sports ;) expensive complicated gear for that extra 1 knot.

Re: Wingfoil boom or handles?

Hybrid of both. Small <boom> in the middle. Riding that way I can never go back to standard handles. Helps tremendously in high winds AND low winds AND jibes/tack. Lets you also ride one handed. Less tiring. More reach. etc etc...

Re: Kit is becoming too expensive

50% for previous year model is about right. Thats the quality your really getting on these incredibly inflated and idiotic new gear prices. I have before/after pictures taken pictures of brand new kites, and after a year of normal use (around 2 to 3 times a week) for manufactures. These are definite...

Re: Ozone leading edge bladder failures?

HI, this is Iain from Ozone. Just to clear up some of the posts. We do have our own factory, we do make our own bladders but we purchase the valves from a supplier, we do not have injection moulding machines in the factory. The valves are ultrasonically welded onto the bladder material and should n...

Re: Ozone Strut Valves breaking after 1 year in tropical climate

So after about two dozen kite repairs in 2019/2020 due to this valve breaking issue it seems Ozone has completly redesigned their valves including the materials. Quite the difference in the Enduro V3 that just came out. Previous kites I had to repair included nearly all their kites; including the la...

Re: Pocketboard question

Using the Kanaha thin 90cm boards. These are for strapless only. I can never go back to anything bigger, feels heavy and slow in turns. I tried the smallest Kanaha macho pro board I think around 75cm but was a bit tough to hold in chops / powered up and the board has naturally less rocker. It really...

Re: Winging is half-assed kite foiling - discuss

Correct gear is super important. I started winging with a 1400cm2 foil and a 4m2 wing...Hated it, couldn't get going flying around 10 knots wind. Needed at least 15 to 20 knots. Went back to kitefoiling. Then I tried a 5.5 / 6m2 wing with a 2400cm2 foil, 5'2 90L board. Was actually super fun in arou...

Re: Armstrong Foil is junk

Armstrong service is tops. Blew my A-wing bladder, pumping way too fast while still folded (kind of a no no for wings due to the bladder sizes...habit from kitesurfing) bladder inside was probably twisted and blew. Contacted Armstrong, sent a couple of pictures, response right away and new bladder a...
