As far as I know Flysurfer has never updated kites on a yearly basis. Soul V2 could be a long way away, the current version is pretty bloody good.
What about Speed4 std and dlx (8 and 10 m2) and Speed4 Lotus (whole range)- different wing shape and bridle system!?

Re: The Video Topic - post all videos here

I did a single line mount, with the same idea as skordmount, using gravity to position the camera horizontally. Well, shots are decent as long as the kite is in front of you. When it is overhead the rotation axis is in vertical position, so the gravity doesn't stabilize the camera. It can freely (so...

Re: Need Help with using P-tex

Oi! This is how the first p-tex candle fixing job looks like for most people. Don't worry and don't give up. It's good practice to practice on small scratches, before you take your take on deep scratches. I would say there was still too much yellow flame in your process, which results in higher temp...

Re: recommendation snow kite

I am about 190 lbs and built my quiver starting with 19 m2 (can hold it up to 20 knots), than I got a 12 m2 and finally 8 m2. Today my second quiver is 18, 13 and 9 m2. This are all closed cell foils. Open cell foils are a bit stronger. But it depends on wind conditions where you ride. I am comforta...

Re: Airex/carbon kiteboard build

Getting rid of Air bubbles on the bottom is the toughest for me in building process. And they only get bigger in the heat of the sun.
Doing it with a Isosport sheet will only result in way way worse result. ;)

Re: GoPro Session Waterproof enough for kite impacts?

You should be OK. It worked for me so far. It is also light and small, good for line mounting. The ability to rotate it 90° in the housing gives you nice wide horizontal shots (or turned 180° after kite transition). Check pictures from step 6 on. http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/GoPro+Hero4+Session+Te...

Re: Quark - A Gimble for GoPro's (If you're not totally burned on funding campaigns)

This gimbal is useful for walking. For kiting you should be lookin for 3-axis gimbal.
