A 2 stage QR would kill more than save I would suggest...
I was referring its use in relation to this thread, when someone is 20 plus feet in the air who plummets into the sea having activated their QR by accident.
Do you have any better suggestions?

Re: Ruben Lenten - My most painful kiteboarding accident (broke my leg)

Perhaps quick release systems should have an “are you sure” mechanism built in. A two stage release process should the quick release system be inadvertently activated.
I admire Ruben’s positivity and wishing him a speedy recovery.

Hello.
Have you seen this thread?
viewtopic.php?f=197&t=2391006&sid=f6bf1 ... f54b1d35fd
Probably the best documented and presented thread of a self build project I have seen.

Re: No information and lack of exposure

The author of this article concludes that “soft kites have an approximate market share of 4%",meaning that with 96% of kites sold being tube kites" so yes looks to be a “niche” market. Tube kites dominate at my local beach so i guess the 4% could well be right. https://www.ralfgroeseldesign.com/blog...

Re: Replacement race bridle line

What kind of bridle line type is it on the elf? Is it sleeved dyneema (polyester out braid with a dyneema inner core) sewn loop, or dyneema where the line loop is spliced and sewn. You could try a paraglider repair shop as they may well be able to supply you with either type. As for length you can c...

Re: Gin Marabou Water Relaunchable Single Skin

Nice concept.
With reference to the closed cell LE.
Does anyone remember Windtools Mosquito Pro KS?
I had the land based version.
The KS version had small bladders inserted into the LE.
I’m not suggesting this is the way to go as you might as well consider the alternative.

Re: Ozone Hyperlink V2

I know this thread about the HL V2, but could someone that owns a HL V1 (9m) be kind enough to measure the wing span and depth of profile “please”
It would be very much appreciated.
