Perhaps quick release systems should have an “are you sure” mechanism built in. A two stage release process should the quick release system be inadvertently activated.

Does anyone remember Windtools Mosquito Pro KS?
I had the land based version.
The KS version had small bladders inserted into the LE.
I’m not suggesting this is the way to go as you might as well consider the alternative.
