Re: Tips on making pig tails ?

I make my pigtails using the “Locked Brummel Splice" method and then run it through my sewing machine “belt and braces” approach.
Hand stitching would be fine if you don’t have access to a sewing machine.
I use Liros D Pro 01505 3mm (950kg) line with Heminway & Bartlett sewing thread.

Re: Sweet foilkite-riding

Thanks for sharing. There looks to be a technical problem when embedding videos on the forum at the moment. I remember seeing your video back in 2014 of your first session on the 12m Chrono V1. 4 years on, how does the Chrono V3 compare to the Chrono V1? Having never flown one! https://youtu.be/0fvU...

I also had the B2 6.4m as well as the B2 7.8m with the Flexifoil crossover system to increase the turning speed. Andrew Jones being the designer who has since retired from Flexifoil sometime ago. My first power kite was the Flexifoil Super 10 that cost around £150 that included lines with padded han...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Here goes nothing. For the last few days we've finally got decent winds so I've unpacked newly bought Soul 12m. I've watched videos of happy testers, read so much about this kite, how stable it is, how friendly it is, not a kite, but a miracle... And it all was HUGE BULLSHIT! With so many genuine"p...

@sony2727 Operate the zip with care and ensure the zip is free of sand before hand, stop if you feel an obstruction.(Don't force it for example) At home after a session I clean the zip slider and teeth with a small brush to remove any surplus sand then apply silicon lubricant on a cloth wiping the zi...

Re: ozone Hyperlink V2 wishes

The HL performs very well having had many great sessions with it this year. The feature to configure the kite to either open or closed cell depending on your needs/terrain is a clever idea, although I don’t use it. I have made a couple of tiny modifications and is very much a personal preference, ad...
