Re: Ozone Subzero V1 13m issue

Thanks for reply. Have checked on 1 and (pb2/pc1). pa 1 is 5mm too long. but pb2/pc1 is measured at 450mm against 405mm which should be original. That it should extend 5 cm seems strange. have ordered line kit without pullys as they are good. Hello - That's ok. Having checked against a very little ...

Re: Ozone Subzero V1 13m issue

Hello, Check the bar leader lines and flying lines are of equal length and adjust as needed. Inspect the main bridle in particular the lefthand side for any knots and misrouted bridles. You say the speed system is "slightly out of trim by 2cm" (20mm) Replacing the Speed System isn't necessary as the...

Re: Ozone Chrono V4 (New Chrono V5)

I forgot to ask what size Chrono are you launching in winds of over 18 knots/20 mph [/quote] I only have the 11m, it has tons of depower, especially wirh a race bar, so I find it works fine in at least 25 knots. Once you have launched and fully inflated, that is. I've used it in as much as 30 on sno...

Re: Ozone Chrono V4 (New Chrono V5)

Launch/folding tips. In strong winds I have not found any way to launch without being lifted when I pull in the steering lines to get the tips inflated. Hello, what wind speeds are you launching in? I fly up the side of the “wind window” slowly which aids the inflation process and once at the top I...

Re: Soul 10m v2 front stalling

Too Funny, I'm having an issue with the 10m V1 front stalling (while dry) (I just bought it second hand, it has a good amount of use). My solution was to buy a 10m Soul V2 that's now on the way to me :o Hello - With reference to your 10m V1 "front stalling" did you ever investigate this further in ...

Re: Ozon R1 V4 - Jaime Overbeek Edition

Hi Fernmanus, If you only need to replace the TE bridles (Break Bridles) that should be be quite straight forward as they are connected to KR1 and not part of the speed system. Just a question of sourcing a higher breaking strain bridle, this might be of interest. https://jonesairfoils.com/products/...

Re: R1 V4 vs Chrono V4

I have also been flying Ozone Chrono’s (V1’s) for years and from personal experience have only experienced kite “instability” issues when flying in unstable/gusty/variable wind conditions. The constant buffeting is very off putting. The Chrono/R1 range of kites being high AR foils and as such are be...
