Re: Cheap mast and foil recomendations

Ive been foiling 3+ years on moses foils. Last 2 years on the 633 wing. I really like the 633. Recently bought a Gong M Pro with 90 cm mast and 40 cm stab. I can highly recommended this foil to learn and progress on. It's less than 1/3 the cost of the moses. I just ordered one, what's the lowest wi...

Re: Chris Calthrop RIP

I met him in Barbados few years ago, light winds one day, he was the only one out on the water and he was catching some nice waves on the reef, with a 2 line kite! really nice guy, sad to hear this.

Travel insurance for US citizen

Can anyone recommend travel insurance that covers kitesurfing in Brazil. Mainly just looking for medical coverage not so worried about bags, trip delays etc

Would only be for a 12 day trip.

Thanks

Im going to be there next week was hoping to get out on my foil a couple of times. We are staying closest to Holland state park so if kiting...

Re: Wainmann Punch, Boss, and Big Mama: too close to be practical?

i don't know that u will see much benefit from the big mama. They are quite heavy kites. i'm about 180lb and have the 6.5, 7, 9, 10.5 & 12 i couldn't ever see a use for the 14, 12 is already quite slow and heavy, doesn't give much more than moving the 10.5 around. I do get a lot of use out of the 10...

Re: Vote for Dimitri KOTA video

"Video clip can not exceed 120 seconds (2’,00”). We are not looking for long video clips, we want a short edit packed with plenty of extreme action." his video clip is 165 seconds so i'd say that could be an issue? also agreed with the other comment about few landings filmed. Each filmed trick show...

Re: Kitesurfing Jamaica

Burwood beach https://goo.gl/maps/UtNjS2EQHZu also i kited here but you don't want to end up down wind, its not easy to come in on the beach at the end, very shallow reef. https://goo.gl/maps/FUuvug7Vuay burwood is good, there are some local kiters there. flat water only no waves when i've been there.
