Re: Sanding foils? Trying to understand why and how?

I went to 3000 grit and it was a pain to keep finished.

I now ride 1000 as I am not racing and that's fine for me.

Re: (How not to?) Deal with 40 kt.+ sudden winds

On the beach, yep, immediately hit the QR and be ready to activate the leash QR too. Never forget the death loop...happens quiet often. We ned to anticipate that ever...

Re: Are you always progressing your riding?

I try to.

I jump higher than I have ever now and my loops are much bigger than ever before.

I try new stuff here and there but generally ride with what I already have in my pocket.

Re: marc jacobs kota - pushed harder than anyone

For sure I think he was robbed.

The power and angle of the tricks he was doing was insane, as was the risk.

I wonder how it would have gone down if there had been 35-45 knots of wind

Re: Olly Bridge and that spit jump!

The distance I put on FB was a guess based on where I think he took off and landed. It's not 200m in my opinion.

Either way, it's a very long jump and pretty damn high too.

@James - I will put the googlemaps measuring tape down.
