Re: Boosting only one way

I only jumped one way the first 2.5 years and couldn't boost at all switch when I first tried it, felt super awkward and like a total beginner. Now 1.5 years later it still doesn't feel as natural, yet I regularly boost higher switch actually. Being able to take off both sides makes a huge differenc...

Re: WOO consistency

I second that. Same for me, been hit by a gust during a jump, which provided me extra height and hang time, but it did not appear in the record… One extreme example: Caught a big one on a 12m kite, was swinging way underneath it so had to fly it across 12 for landing twice. By far the highest one o...

Re: WOO consistency

A few of us had WOO and PIQ together. PIQ had a lot of outliers with much higher jumps, very often over-estimating the height. It might be different for you, but for us WOO is way more accurate than PIQ was. Indeed I tend to have more outliers with the PIQ, but that exactly matches my own perceptio...

Re: WOO consistency

I'm using both Woo3 and PIQ. Once I got a second lift from a gust, which PIQ measured 13.1m and Woo just about 10.
Prior to that, it already felt like the Woo was underreporting floaty jumps compared to those with a more aggressive takeoff.

Re: Double action pump noob question

Yeah high volume mode first, what I mean.
Used 2010 Ocean Rodeo with these ancient valves, as well as Switch Nitro 7 with Boston valve.

Double action pump noob question

I used to do this: Pump the kite with the single stroke inflation, or whatever else you call it high volume mode of my pump first, then changed to double action at about 6 psi to decrease resistance and make things easier. Using e g. Core and Eleveight pumps. Used to work fine a few sessions, then s...

Just to make sure, she wears a watch on her right arm, and not one of those Powerbalance scams?! Awesome day.. I just got a message that I exceeded my number of invalid login attempts (which can't be true, password is saved in browser) and had to answer the captcha "how many lines does a five line k...
