Re: Developing some data on foil kite quivers

Great thread! Here's my input. Some preliminary information: I weigh 55kg (very light weight) and I surf mainly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where wind is quite light and almost never goes over 15 kts. Primary style of riding: Freeride Board/Foil setup: Flysurfer/Flydoor4 and Radical4, Airush/Sector V3 K...

Tribal, f*ck yeah! :thumb:

Looks like the design of Best kites in 2010. Which is a compliment, as I loved it.

Holy cr*p. I am in tears laughing and in need of eye bleach.

I'll never be able to look at a towel in the same way again.

Also the Flysurfer Flydoor.

I just purchased (used) a v3, 160x44, and I'm very happy with it. No idea about the latest version (v4) though.

Wait, what? Is that actually a thing? That kite must have been massively underinflated...

Re: Why do other brands then slingshot still use inferior li

I don't know about all companies but Airush are using the same quality wise lines as SS. Nice thick 800# lines for the front with little to no stretch after a full season or 2. Steering lines can stretch a little especially after a day of big loops but same as most. ^ This. I have more than 50 sess...

Re: Abu Dhabi - anybody kitesurfing on Saadiyat?

Hi Jono,

kiters in Abu Dhabi go to Yas Island, which is a very nice sandy spot. Unfortunately there's never much wind down here, so make sure you bring the big one with you.

Good luck!

Re: Airush 2012 New Sectors -- 54, 60, and 66cm V3

Just a quick follow-up on my previous posts... I have finally ordered a Sector V3 60 (quad fins), will get it on the second week of January!
As soon as I get my hands (and feet) on it, I will post my impressions.

TPink, I will try and get the measurements you need. Just 3 weeks to wait! ;)

Hi Mike!

This is the kite I used, I don't honestly know if it's a prototype - I can ask.

Thank you so much for the answers, this will help me a lot in deciding which board to buy! :thumb:
