Re: Is the 2010 Naish Helix any good??

What is the best size for 2010?? And for a quiver for 90kgs would you go 12/9/7 or 14/10.5/7?? It somewhat depends on where are you riding and in what conditions. But i'm about the same weight and my quiver(torches) is 12/9/6. IMO the 2010 Helix has more pull than the last year model and behaves re...

Re: Any good high-wind surf kites for 2010?

I would highly recommend Cult 2010 or Helix 09/10. Probably Cult being the best option when you aim at really high-wind conditions.

The sigma shape makes a big difference in extra unstable high-winds.

You could also order Naish kites from various locations on the Web.

:D Cheers mate!

Re: Best Kite ever made??

:D IMO Naish torch (2010) is possibly the best kite ever made. Seriously. :thumb: This kite comes from a long line of top perfoming c-hybrid kites. Also it has a remarkable competition pedigree. Simply Marvellous. :D IMO Flysurfer Speed3 Deluxe was rather crap compared to top perfoming C kites or mo...

It doesn't depend...
Yeah, everything You say is 100% undeniable truth.

There is no way this subjective opinion could depend on something trivial as personal preference, riding style, weight, spots you have ridden etc. :D

Re: Best Kite ever made??

:D It's seems like a punch of kids have made a thread. All posts here are nothing more than subjective opinions of random people. :D The answer for the "best kite ever made" completely depends on how long have you kitesurfed, your riding style, weight, the places where you have ridden and in what wi...

Re: The Rider of the Year 2009

Kevin Langeree -> ending Aaron Hadlow's winning streak. Being really versatile in surfing (kite, sup, wave, etc). Promoting surfing in general and having fun doing it. I think he suits really well to be the male rider of the year 2009. Female is probably Kari as Toby pointed out. As what goes for Di...

Re: Boots vs Straps

Ride whatever is best for the conditions :thumb: This is excatly what an experienced rider would say. For some kind of odd reason I always end up reading posts that Pimp some kind of riding style or preference all the way to the bitter end. Mostly it depends on how well are you riding, where, when,...

Re: Alex Pastor upsets Kevin Langeree, Youri Zoon settles for 3

I agree with what Kevin is saying (at the end of the video about the future of kitesurfing). http://www.kiteforum.tv/video/PKRA_Teri_Kitesurf_Pro_TV_Show_2009.html?Itemid=0 If we would make kitesurfing competitions wakestyle oriented then we would end up with "kitewakeboarding" or some sh*t like tha...

Re: Alex Pastor upsets Kevin Langeree, Youri Zoon settles for 3

Real surfers, don't give a sh*t about kitesurfing trends. They go out and do whatever they want to do. Freeride, wave, wake, freestyle, speed, high air etc. Same goes for hadlow or any other top rider, they do whatever they feel like. A lot of surfers take Haldow as their idol and therefore try to p...
