Scientific Articles on Kite Design

I'm in an advanced dynamics class and need to present some sort of problem that can be solved (at least partially) by advanced dynamics. Lagrange/Hamilton's equations etc. Does anybody know if there are any articles written on kite design? Where might I find them?

thanks,
B.

good idea, but it would have to be implemented by manufacturers. I can't think of a crafty way to color just the top of the bar. Can you?

i've had experience relaunching in seaweed..... it takes significantly more than 1 strand to ruin your day. I've crashed in kelp only to relaunch very slowly, as the seaweed snaps off the line due to the tension. My problem with it is that you can't body drag upwind in seaweed. If you lose your boar...

i'll just come out and say it: it won't work because to put the ball into the bottom of the container would require displacing a volume of water equal to that of the ping pong ball. Displacing that water would require work; exactly the same amount of work you'd get when the ball floated to the top, ...

http://gallery.kiteforum.com/albums/albuw21/fastcar1.sized.jpg I take no credit, I essentially ripped off Spork's ideas. But this is sort of a hybrid yoyo/cart idea. Let's say the diameter of the wheel is twice the diameter of the axle to which the rope is attached. Wind speed = W Cart speed = V As...
