North EVO vs Rebel?

Hey guys, Im looking at replacing my Naish Torches with either 2012 Rebel or 2011 EVO. Both used and at comparable prices. What I am aiming for is an uberstable kite in gusts for freeride, jumping and medium waves. Im at medium level and will probably not go much further. The only thing stopping me ...

Re: Naish Torch 2011 backstalling

When the kite is flying do you notice the canopy directly behind the LE luffing? Is the power very on/off when you sheet in/out? If so then it is most likely too tight of a 5th line. Experiment with the 5th line. Your probably best off by lengthening the 5th line.
How do I actually do that? Insert a pigtail?

Re: Naish Torch 2011 backstalling

Okey, I might have said the wrong thing here. The kite dives forward and goes through the front and fifth line. The LE points down and it falls towards me. Backstalling might be wrong? Frontstalling? Because it feels like the wind is hitting the kite on the top and I must pull the back lines more to...

Naish Torch 2011 backstalling

Hello surfers, I have a Naish Torch 2010 9 m² and a 2011 12 m². The 2011 backstalls a lot on me and in worst case scenarios it stalls and dives between the fifth line and one of the front lines. After this you need to get out of the water and rig the kite again since one back line is stuck between t...

the idustry-made twintips (north, crazyfly, etc) are genarally advertised to weight 2.3~2.5kg
is this bindings & fins included, or plain naked deck?

thanks
Its the naked board. My CrazyFly Allround weighs 4 kgs with everything. Momentum is said to be 4.3 kgs with the Grav-Ds.
