Re: Stop this thing

Smaller kite is the answer. Then you wont get to a death run position. Purposefull touch down... a bit hard to do if you already have a lot of front foot pressure. But its possible. Go way downwind as others suggest. Thats hard when your learning too as you no longer have the kite pull to balance of...

Re: Wing loading as a metic

Interesting thread. I agree g/cm3 could be more relevant.

Me 80000/550=145gm
Kami 107000/820= 130gm

Post up your pie loading so we can get a data pool of results.

Re: vacuum ... or something else

I like the sand box idea. You could make it with a top plate that you can clamp extra pressure and get good distribution of load. That said. That would take more room than a fridge pump.

If you havent modelled before be prepared for a big learning curve. Its a complex monster that doesnt take...

Re: Which muscles are the most important for kitesurfing?

Core strength definitely. Then legs. Afterall you are transferring the power through your core to your legs. Aerobic... Not so much. When I mountain bike more and kite less my aerobic fitness increases. When I kite more and mountain bike less my aerobic fitness decreases. Kitesurfing is inferior for...

TT foot pad/binding bolt spacing

Hey team,

Is there any sort of Bolt spacing standard for TT foot pads?

I'm about to make a board and want to use a standard size that will fit many bindings.
What is that size? or are they all different?

I'm finding Very little info on manufacturers sights.
