Re: Different kites in different sizes quiver

Yep I do. I start of insanely high aspect for cranking up wind and boosty floaty jumps then as it gets windier i reduce down in aspect ratio until im and super low aspect for batshit crazy conditions. 12m chrono awesome superlight wind buggy and foiling machine plus floaty as jumps on the landboard ...

Re: We filmed a kite beach for 8 hours ... crashes

unbelievable what mistakes are being made...90% of kiters have no clue about safety. A must for everyone to be safer is the safety video I made: https://strictlyhooked.com/viewtopic.php?f=107&t=2464 Toby, that's a really nice instructional video you've produced, kudos. However, I would add just a c...

Re: We filmed a kite beach for 8 hours ... crashes

The video made me angry. What a bush of inconsiderate muppets.
Hopefully this does not represent the average beach.
At my local muppetry is very and far between. But amusing when it happens.

Re: When you swim in with your foil kite in the winter and it's soaked.

Option 1) Never crash foil kite into water!... I'm averaging 1 dunking every 2-3 years. So... 90% of the time its dry 100% of the time. Option 1 A) Fly inflatable if there's a possibility of kite getting wet. Option 2) Fly kite until it dries. Option 3) Drape over chairs etc in garage. Turn over whe...

Re: Stable wings for 20-30 knots and 2-4m swell

Good grief man, you're in New Zealand. Nothing is a big trip compared to Australia or Europe where you may have to catch a flight to a good kite kiting destination. The New Zealand Kitesurfing Facebook site, https://www.facebook.com/groups/115325528485030/ has 2,362 members, no doubt some are foile...

Re: I'm less addicted, kiting less and now i'm a better person because of it.

It's getting quite ridiculous now. With kite (TT, SB, Foil), prone and sup foiling and all this behind a boat (so add in wake boarding and scurfing) if no wind (oh plus normal surfing), plus mountain biking and diving for seafood, there doesn't go many days of the year without something to do in th...

Re: Kitebuggying sand dunes

Fire pit does draw from the bottom. But there's no adjustment. Its a decorative firepit primarily and secondary is cooking.

Ps Unbolt 4 bolts and it pulls down and stores away flat pack. Oh yeah!
