Re: kite loop radius for gybe to toe

I also disagree with the "follow the kite" idea. It works when powerded like on a SB or TT but not when underpowered like we usually do foilingAND combined with more speed going downwind. What works with the downloop also works when sending the kite up and turning when it goes down again. Even with ...

Re: North Kiteboarding 2020

I tried the 9m Carve (back to back with Slash '19) in around 18-20kts and that shacking briefly happened. It is like the tips are not stable and this pulls in the backlines en thus on the bar. I have the same on my BRM Clouds when overpowered and had the same on my new Naish Slash 7m in a 35kts gust...

Re: advice Neo / Airush Wave / Religion / Slash

- bar pressure is very light on both kites which I like a lot (that is why I hate the Neo...) What year Neo do you fly and do you have it on the low bar pressure setting? 2018 Neo that I have has low bar pressure on the low setting but pretty beefy on the other setting! Heard the Neo has no good lo...

Re: advice Neo / Airush Wave / Religion / Slash

Hi guys, did try the Slash ('19) and North Carve ('20) this morning in on-shore winds 18-22kts with SB Carve: LE is very big. I mean very big. The kite looks good and sober. Slash: LE is thinner, definetly higher AR then the Carve (and Neo). Top construction. - the low-end is OK on both kites (mayb...

Re: North Kiteboarding 2020

just tested the 9m Carve with click bar (heu also North but not the same North if you can follow) LE is very big. I mean very big. the kite looks good and sober. It was around 18-22 knots which was the low-end for me @120kg on my surfboard. Dead on-shore. So not the ideal conditions to test a wave k...

Re: Pivot v Boxer

Boxer 8m is amazing in the waves and great for foiling.
Not stable when overpowered. It is thinly downside.
You don't need any bower bigger then 10m for foiling.

Boxer 8m pulls like a grunty 9m !
