Re: Why single strut in small sizes for strong wind?

good for foiling and for learning kids how to kite. They fly better in light wind

Re: How important is the weight of your bar and lines for light wind foiling?

to me it is more a matter of feeling. It is more versatile like a light board, light foil especially when riding switch one handed, etc etc

Some thin lines make a horrible noice though

Re: If you had to re-buy all your kites tomorrow, what would you get?

Tried a CA Wave 8,5, best drifting kite ever but the low-end was not confortable for me. Now I bought a seco...

Re: Concept Air Smart Wave 6.5 & 4.5 & 3 and now 8.5

Hi guys, I ride a Wave 8,5 but think of selling it. Used twice. I am in Europe if anybody has interest, it doesn't fit in my quiver... I didn't experience this taco thing except when walking on the beach, even powered. I ride it with a 65cm carbon bar and 24m lines (don't have shorter...) Drift is j...

Re: most visible board color?

I vote for orange (mat and somehow fluo) I play golf and use mat orange balls. When the sun comes down I can still see clearly the ball (next to the flag of course...). That is not the case with white or yellow balls. Also look at the color of live jackets, they are usually red or oranje Otherwise y...

Re: North/Duotone Mono

I had the 7 mostly foe foiling from 15-17kts Used it a few times in small waves and it was great. I now use Boxers for foiling and light wind wave sailing, they work great but not in the upper windrange (not "rock solid" like 3-struts kites) One (and no) strut kites are fur sure grunty, you can ride...

Re: Kite for waveriding

I use One strut kite (Boxer) for foiling but it happens to be very good in the waves (not overpowered tho)
They have a very good low end.
I think Ultra 10 could be the ticket for you
