Re: Is this the most high tech foil?

if you want a clear example of control technology on foils, a kiwi mechatronics/software engineer wrote some new software for the Americas cup boat mid competition and then it proceeded to win every race after previously losing in the same boat.

interesting engineering.

Re: Hot coat hints and tips

I have heard of glassers hot coating epoxy layups with polyester resin to make things a bit easier and getting a good bond.

Re: Efoil inventor

The lift one was after my drawing, no sign of prior artwork to mine in patent I read. The other one seemed to be designed for sitting down, but they seemed to mention standing up eventually.. need to look into this more.. it does look like a foilboard though.. even in 2009 but at the time it seems i...

Re: Efoil inventor

Someone could still come forward with prior artwork to mine, but it hasn't happened. You don't have to regret anything. You published your drawing late 2014. Published 2015/04, the Langelaan (Lift based) patent has a priority from 2013/10. It was granted despite the Evolo project prior art from 200...

Re: Decathlon Orao Kite Surfboard anyone tried it?

Bold move by a huuuuge corporate company!

Pas problem, c'est pour le strapless freestyle. La prix? Pas cher!

omg if they have a returns policy i might end up making them bankrupt with my history of board destruction.

Re: Efoil inventor

Last I checked, talking about something on the internet doesn't make you the inventor. True, talking about it may not, but even my very average artwork I published here does. All you have to do is be the first person with a concept drawing, that is why when it comes to patents they say " no prior a...
