Re: Theft Story? Tell Yours

Only place I have been to where I really didn't like leaving the keys at the beach was Tarifa. So many people. Huge parking lots with a lot of cars. Easy place to just grab some keys - find the a car and drive off. Funny story as I’m also as non-trusting especially in Tarifa, but exactly there at V...

Re: Any place to buy a sand anchor that's safe?

TAP and 3. Avianca. Lufthansa and TAP would take my boardbag for free but Avianca wouldn’t as they s...

Weed now legal in South Africa

The highest court in SA has decided that you’re now allowed to smoke and grow weed at home legally. And they didn’t even specify an amount. Watch the new B&B’s advertising soon: 2 bedroom house with breakfast and weed, straight from the garden.

Re: Officially announced: North becomes Duotone

.... How about other company names such as Cabrinha, Gaastra, Wipika, Takoon, and Naish. These are all kite companies with strange names that we have gotten used to. Haha strange names?! Most names are iconic people in watersports with major achievements. Or you think Cabrinha or Naish or Gaastra a...

Re: Oceanus kite reels: i still see them

Here is another related question: Do all of you riders who use a board leash also wear a helmet? My thought is that one of the risks of using a board leash might be diminished somewhat by wearing a helmet. [Disclaimer: I have never used a board leash. I can't imagine that I ever will. I sometimes w...
