Re: Apple Watch 4 GPS Tracking App

Or just use the Strava app? Or does that not work with Watch only but needs a phone?

Re: mystic stealth bar

Had my new stealth slider size 280mm in the mail on Wednesday but wasn't sure I had the correct size as it is smaller than the clicker 4.0 with hook. The large 320mm slider is larger by about 2cm than the L clicker. Love this setup on the water while waveriding! Happy to move to the rope as it gives...

Re: Naish Slash 2018 vs Naish Slash 2019

Cheers kite doctor, thanks for a quick reply! We're kiting the same Dutch Northsea conditions so your insights are extra valuable. Yesterday I was a little underpowered on the Pivot 7m but epic waves at the noordpier so a lot of fun! I use 21m lines but am considering 3m extensions (both from Infexi...

Re: Naish Slash 2018 vs Naish Slash 2019

Am I correct in assuming Pivot 5m = Slash 6m regarding power? At the moment, I have 5-7-9 Pivots in my quiver with the 5 getting used only in high-wind tt sessions (think 40+ gusts to 50+), very rare situations. I am/want to move more to strapless wave. What range can I expect from a 6m Slash, >28kn...

People think of Lip as the $200 Sunglasses but you can get a model at $100 which work just as well as their $200 Typhoons
Anyone who has experience with that new Vivide blue mirror glasses in the Surge?

Re: 9m Naish Pivot

Hi All, Great views on the pivot here. I am actually in the market for a kite that combines big air [with good hangtime] and wave capabilities. Sounds like this kites ticks those two boxes or not? Is it better the the Duotone EVO at these two disciplines you think? And should I get an 11, 8, 6 or 5...

Re: How to enlarge the Naish Apex straps? (Neo shoes, boots)

Instead of my previous klunky O'Neill boots that were EOL over a season ago (but still used them last winter), I've now bought Atan madisson 3mm neo/rubber 'socks' that promise a barefoot feeling and certainly feel thin enough to use with the Apex straps. I didn't have the Apex last season but am ce...

Re: Custom Hardshell made in shop.. would it work?

I actually have been thinking about this and I do feel that it could be feasible. Looking at the skiboot-industry, they have been able to make custom fitting available at shops everywhere. Why wouldn't that be possible with a kite harness? Once the harness is really custom fit, there is much less ne...

Re: Kite type and line length % effect on jump height

I have a contrary experience, I'm jumping higher on 21m lines then 24m. Same bar but moved to 21m when ordering new lines.
