Re: Why do schools keep using the seat harness in lessons but most people use waist?

Lots of reasons seat harnesses are more versatile, one you don't have to be so accurate with the fit, two lots of beginners don't have a 'waist' fact is if you measure your chest under your armpits and that measurement isn't a good couple of inches greater than the measurement around your middle Mat...

Re: XR6 Release

The Pro Bar to my knowledge is the lightest bar on the market, which does carry other penalties, you simply can't have super light and super durable imv, It's just not the way things work, just because something is expensive, it doesn't mean it'll last forever and certainly not the abuse of high win...

Re: XR6 Release

Re: Screw type for slingshot board footstraps?

You can use regular stainless sheet metal screws. Just about anything will work. Especially for foiling. Not entirely, you have to be sure which thread type you use, imperial (USA) or Metric (Europe) hence both screw types in that packet, so be sure to use the correct thread. I was under the impres...

Re: What's the thing with Duotone?

It's a result of marketing. Now I'm not sure what I'm about to tell you remains as true to day as it once was, but the key to Boards & More's early success comes from what we used to joke as 'state sponsored commercial terrorism'. It goes like this, they have a facility in Molne in Austria, which us...

Re: Who ride with sunglasses, and where?

Speaking as someone who's been on the water longer than most and now on the back end of my first early cataract op I was warned might happen if I didn't wear shades many years back.. No question, wear them anywhere and everywhere. I'm lucky I don't have that other glaucoma thing apparently, both eye...

but the fact he was banned from his native kite forum Really? that's interesting and the first I heard of it. As to the rest of this nonsense once more trying to 'reel me in' with all manner of deceptive bait, downright lies for the most part. Some facts. I've never been 'bankrupt' or forced by ban...
