The rule is l, at least in the PNW, that the surfer going down the line always has right if way.

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Yeah my buddy flew one and although the wind was too light to work with even a foil, the kite still stayed aloft and didn’t backstall when nothing else, including a larger Cloud, would fly.

Re: Next big thing (Boards Off)

I agree. I focused on wakestyle for years, but now I just love going big and working on various board off tricks which contrary to what other wakestylers may think are not easy. Go big!

Re: Introducing the Aluula Project - The Evolution of Light

With a 3 strut 12m Flite weighing in at 1.8kg there seems to be no reason for a 1 strut kite with Alulla as shaving .4kg or so won’t make substantial difference in winds you can ride, plus one struts lack the performance of 3 strut kites once the winds pick up.

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

I can’t wait to get a 12m flite. My new home spot is at 5100 feet elevation in the mountains and is typically somewhat gusty. Having a kite that can still fly when it drops below 8 for periods at a time yet be stable in gusts of 20+ will be a game changer for me.

Re: Best boosting light wind kite

The new Ocean Rodeo Flite with alulla is looking like a pretty good candidate too. It's supposed to be much lighter than this years flite (in the range of a cloud of the same size).

Best boosting light wind kite

I’m wondering what is the best boosting light wind kite that works well for both foiling when it’s below 12 knots and a twintip once the wind picks up a bit? Ive tried the mono, boxer, cloud, while good for foiling none of these kites boost like my pivot. But I hate bringing two kites to the beach a...

Re: Duotone 2020

Any reports on the new Juice? Looking for a light wind kite the is good for foiling and unhooked when it picks up. Seems like it should be better than Mono.
