Re: Levitaz releases its R5 design for Olympia 2024

Provisional gives a year to write the patent after staking your claims. It allows a fast go live.

Why is this internal mechanism better than shims?

Re: Armstrong Foil is junk

If the fit is perfect, And it never is! So for example I wonder about mast - board box connections and fast fuse connections in addition to this type of box connection of wing to fuse. Unfortunately there is always some play and therefore some wear. Does switching parts accelerate the wear? If for ...

Re: Ageing foil kites

Thank you for this post! I was just getting ready ask about how the Soul with X-lite fabric and single strand bridles are holding up so I would love to see what people are experiencing.. I'm curious how much you kite with the Soul. I think its such a beautiful kite but my first impression on inspect...

Re: Armstrong Foil is junk

So I have had a wing break after a year of jumping (not Armstrong) and wear in box fit (not Armstrong) as you have demonstrated. Would never consider a warranty claim. I have had good luck using electrical tape as shims in the box to reduce play. Hard to know if it would work for this specific conne...

Re: Introducing the new Naish Boxer

Hey boxer users, or any single strut users, question for you... I see the ocean rodeo Flite 12m is 2.95kg and the boxer 12m is 3.1kg. If the kite actually weights more than some 3 strut kites why bother? Wouldn’t the 3 strut work better, Or is the 12m boxer actually a bit bigger than the Flite? Jus...

It does bend the lines in so there is a force pulling the housing apart. I have a separate small piece of kit...

Re: What the Farmers muck?

instead of No instead of ... and. It’s OK. I got COVID shamed on FB early on parking my car near other kiters on the beach. Never mind we were hydrofoilong many lines apart. My wife got me that night. “Is this your car?” None of are perfect. We all need some fresh air. Let the locals live their lif...

Re: GoPro line mounts

( Sony) If you have an inside voice: it would be sweet if a cell phone size lens/sensor were encased in a tiny housing < 5 grams and attached via wire to the battery and recorder 4-5 meters away. It would take the weight out of the kite lines. Same with Max-360 style cameras. If the heavy battery w...
