Camber induced kites?

This has probably been covered before - and camber induced probably isnt quite the right term. Windsurfers will know what I am on about. Have any kite manufacturers ever tried more profiled leading edges, making them the same shape as a camber induced windsurf sail? Surely it would make a kite far m...

Re: Change a cabrinha bar for very short arms?

This is what I use when using a 2013 IDS connection. I don't know if something similar can be done with the 2017. https://kiteforum.com/download/file.php?id=74036&mode=view https://kiteforum.com/download/file.php?id=74037&mode=view Is that white ball there just as a part of the attachment, or as a ...

This looks great. Where’s that metal bit from? I can’t quite figure it out. (Not the shackle). Thanks.

Change a cabrinha bar for very short arms?

Hi I have a standard 2017 Cabrinha trimlite bar, and I'm trying to teach my 8 year old lad with it, but his arms are nowhere near long enough to use it properly. How can I bring the bar nearer? I'm thinking of of getting rid of the harness hook and using a slider instead - but is there any good way ...

Re: Near fatality at Hermanus today December 12 2018

Plenty of people were doing massive mega loops way before KOTA started. It's just human nature that some people will always want to push the boundaries as far as possible - and are willing to accept the risks that come with this attitude. KOTA is just publicising it. It's the same for all sports - b...

Re: Sal - Kite beach fee?

I've been here a few times and kited Shark bay (kite beach) and Ponta Preta (wave spot). Shark bay/ Kite beach (same place) is the safest bet. It's a bit busy, but bearable. The water is fairly choppy inside the reef, but it's OK for learning, and the waves on the reef are quite nice between knee an...

Re: What’s the best board you have ever tried?

I treated myself to a Crazyfly Raptor Ltd Neon on the back of comments in this post. I must say, the quality of construction is like nothing I've ever seen on a kiteboard before - it is AMAZING!! I feel like I should have it hanging on the wall in a posh frame, or in pride of place on the mantelpiec...
