Re: What would kiteboarding look like without China?

The Chinese people are industrious, talented, and productive. It is sad that their oppressive government do not have a clue. Bully tactics are not going to bring Western Companies around, nor lying to the world about the disease. They don't get that transparency is vital in a global economy. The peo...

Re: I sold my flysurfer soul in favour of.

These kite need to be pushed to their limits and that can only be done on the water Or better yet on the snow. The Soul is absolutely amazing for snowkiting. As much as I like the Soul, the Sonic 3 has a couple attributes that I like even better - improved bridle system, thinner profile makes packi...

No water kiting, but We can still snowkite. Weird thing is that we had a cold March, so we are still riding powder. I keep waiting for them to shut it down, but so far so good.

Re: Corona Virus - Has your country banned kitesurfing?

It is sad to see beaches close. It is government over-reach if you ask me. And no, I don’t think that over stressing rescuers is a valid argument. How many people are rescued kiting each year??? It has to be a tiny number. I can’t think of one rescue where I live in over 20 years. People are still g...

Re: I sold my flysurfer soul in favour of.

Good for you, ride the kite you like. The Soul is not a perfect kite, but it is one of the better foil kites available for most riders. Not sure if I would ever buy a Pansch - have they improved their quality?

Re: Aluula Composites | Episode # 135

I would like to hear an update from OR. I am curious if OR is still on track for a Mid-May introduction or if the COVID crisis has slowed them down. I too am surprised by the haters. A lot of complaints about the pricing. Time will tell if Aluula is fad or fabulous, no reason to get upset in the mea...

Re: One kite flysurfer soul

[/Hi if you want one flysurfer soul witch size ?is a 9m ok? Freeride and 90kg 15—30kn wind quote] Above 20 knots you should be fine on a TT. Less than that you will be underpowered on a 9. 15 to 30 knots is at least a 2 kite quiver. 9 & 15 for power, 7 & 12 to just ride OR 9 with a TT in higher win...

Re: Soul 2 - what Would you like to see?

When I read that a couple of you are have no issues with the deflation, it makes me wonder if I am doing something wrong. Most of the time, I do not have any issues, but in high winds, the slow deflation becomes a problem, not because I have a lack of patience. The issue is the tangling of the bridl...

Re: Soul 2 - what Would you like to see?

Hey fernmanus, how about a review of the Sonic 3 ? . Well, what I like most about the Sonic 3 is what I requested in my initial post. The thin profile allows the kite to quickly inflate and deflate. You only need one Velcro TE port with this kite. A zipper is not necessary even on the 18. It takes ...
