Re: Air tank for filling bladder

FBCK, There is no way that anything is easier, simpler or cheaper than my 10 gal. tank assuming that: 1.) I don't have to move the tank from the back of my pick-up truck and 2.) You already own a compressor and tank (as I did). If I have to walk any distance to set up or travel with limited room for...

Re: Air tank for filling bladder

That Volo thing says it takes 30 seconds to fill a kite. As I stated before, I use a ball valve on the ens of my hose (3/8" dia hose, 1/4 " ball valve) When I open that ball valve, the kite is almost instantly (3-5 seconds) inflated. This is the beauty of the system. I used to use a regular pneumati...

Re: Air tank for filling bladder

My home compressor should be about 125 psi, but it is older and the gauges are not reliable. I am sure I get 100psi but maybe 120. Some home compressors will go to 175. The air tank I use is rated to 150. I am sure you won't fill a big kite with a 5 gallon tank at 125 psi.

Re: Air tank for filling bladder

I use a 10 gallon air tank with a 50' hose w/ ball valves on end of hose and at the tank. I fill it from my home compressor, leave tank in the back of my truck and just pull the hose out. I can fill my 14M epic 1 pump once, actually just about exactly the right amount of air, in about 4 seconds. All...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

I am sorry that Kylek felt abused by Dimitri. But, I cannot imagine him being a "dick". I don't personally know him but I bought a kite from him and he was the most responsive, helpful and positive person I have never Known. I love my Epic screamer, only have the 14 and make excuses to myself to use...

Re: Epic Kites 2011

I received my new 2010 14M Screamer last night. First off, I must say that this has been one of the best purchase experiences I have ever had for anything. I have never met Dimitri before and have no affiliation with any kite company. My most ridden kite has been an 07 Waroo 15M for the past 3 seaso...

Re: Spleene X19

Interesting vid of these lightwind toys side by side land. Just floating at the edge in Super Light... Great to See! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkn3VEyu20k www.PBKiteboarding.com Wow, That is an interesting comparison. I assume the black kite with the X on it is the Spleen? It just sits there w...
