Re: End of Production Year Cabrinha Warranty

Unless your sales invoice states you are buying without a warranty then you are good.

Skip the dealer and talk to Cabrhina directly.

Re: La Ventana

I spent 7 weeks in Baja. The wind in La Ventana was the worst of the last 4yrs. It was kiteable a lot, but not overly strong and not as consistent as it has been previous 3yrs.

Having said that my info is from Dec/Jan so it's anyone's guess what happens in Feb.

Re: Airush topchop vs cypher

Heres one of my mates on the 5'4 and it basically shows what the model is made for. Onshore sloppy fun! https://vimeo.com/58140226 I have a Choptop - super fun board. I haven't tried a Cypher, but I will as soon as one crosses my path. That's a great video - thanks for posting... :thumb: :jump:

Re: School Edition ?!

There is no difference between a school edition Envy kite and a regular Envy kite. The school edition kites come in a basic no frills bag. 2 out of my GF's 3 Envys are school edition kites. She bought them new from a dealer. So the kite you are looking at may not have been used by a school. You'll h...

Re: 8 years kiting and I was so wrong about boards

I've had a Mako 130, 140, 150 & King...all the new generation of "wide"boards. Lots of fun to ride. I've kept the 140 and my GF rides the 135. I've tried a number of traditional TT designs and haven't been motivated to buy one. I'll keep demoing new TT boards as they cross my path, but there is cert...

Re: I need something for light winds. Please!

Hey, I've a bit of a problem. I've been looking out my window for the last two weeks at nothing over 8kts. I am going completely crazy. I am new enough to the game but already it has become like a drug and I need my fix. Does anybody know of a kite that will even just get me up and free riding arou...

Re: motorcycle/scooter transport

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108611 That's my KLR650 in the ADVrider thread. Carrying a twin tip and a couple kites isn't too big of a deal. You can just strap the board down under the kites at the rear of the bike. The board can go sideways or in line with the bike depending on ...

Re: Equipment used for kiteboard-camping ?

I use a Coleman propane stove. If it's for weekend trip I just use the small disposable propane bottles and if it's a 1-2month trip in the Baja I use a BBQ propane tank. You can buy all sorts of coolers for your food & drinks. The heavily insulated ones will be a little more expensive and will have ...
