Anyone tried the FixnZip zipper repairs for kite bags??

From this site: https://www.fixnzip.com/ I've got a North kite bag with corroded and missing zippers. I'm curious if these repair zippers will be an easy fix. They're advertised as being able to repair or replace the zipper without needing to resew a complete new zipper assembly. From their website ...

Re: ION B2 2018 shorts sizing help!

Sergi, I bought a new 2017 model Ion B2 in XL size. I’m a 36 inch waist and it fits me when adjusted down. For a 34 inch waist, I suspect the the straps would run out before the harness is sufficiently tightened. On the bright side, the quality and build of the Ion is much better than the Dakine one...

Re: Speed 4 questions

Could someone post some photos that show the new leading edge technology that has been implemented from GIN Kites, please?

I'm interested to see how Flysurfer has made the leading edges rigid. On my Speed 3 deluxe, the leading edge deformity is noticeable in apparent wind.

Re: New 2013 KiteAid Repair Products

The KiteAid website instructions don't say, but when repairing a ripstop sail tear with the heat-activated Sail Repair Kit, is it intended to place a repair patch on both sides of the canopy?

Re: Foil / LEI comparisos on snow, land, sea

...PMU is full of shit, frequently disproved, and more often than not just COMPLETELY WRONG. But he still puts up that copy'n'paste post anytime 'foil' is mentioned... because of autism. No; not autism.... he just can't think of any other new arguments that will be disproved as well. Foil companies...

Re: SupaEZ's ABC's of self launch Core Riot XR2 LW 19m

SupzEZ,

I noticed that the lines were already attached to the kite in the video.

Do you normally leave your LEI bar and lines attached to your kites (aka "Flysurfer Style")? If so, how do you pack your bar? (In the kite or outside of the kite?

Re: Ram airs crash in 2012

I think that it takes "longer" for established LEI riders to unlearn habits when encountering foils for the first time. If a new kiteboarder trains and learns on foils, I think that the learning curve is much smaller. I believe that (in general), foil kiters are much more in tune to their kites and ...

If you've got the money, why not build your island instead?

From this link:

This would be a nice way to build a kiteboarding spot.
