Re: Settings on the Dice

I think it does a little. It is not strained when on low power, but it is not slacked a lot either. I think it gets strained when you are really powered.
But I have used it just two times, rigged it for winter and relaunch in low wind purpose. Just in case.

Re: Woo Sports out of business?

Keep it on. I moved from piq mainly due to customer base and volume of sale.

For next generation include a tiny screen (BT + SWat), maybe change form factor a bit. Kiteloop detection (or at least indication) would be cool.

Duotone spirit freeride foil

Hey,

any chance someone tried this foil out with the free foil board?
What is the quality like? Is it suitabel for a begginer who has never foiled before, first foil to learn on and keep it for a while?
Any competition worth mentioning, in the same price range?

Regards

Re: Duotone Dice Review WeTestKites

The problem with this review is the context or a kite you compare dice to. I have a direct comparision with vegas, which is considered to beheavy on bar - I do not find dice light, feedback is very good. Although it is lighter on bar. I also liked vegas bar pressure. Imho its feedback that counts, n...

Re: North Vegas or Dice!

I just made a jump from vegas to dice. Vegas has a much more direct feel on the bar. However dice is not bad and better than other construstions. To keep things short: dice gives you more hangtime and is easier to jump on, better for freeriding. Vegas gives you better and more aggresive pop, slack, ...

Go swimming with seals instead. They seem to quite like it too. Remeber no feeding and touching wild animals.

Re: Duotone 2020

Couldn’t agree with you more Teabagger. I wax my lines just to keep them lasting longer and it does seem to help but really I shouldn’t be doing this, as two others in the crew use Ozone and Naish and their lines are 200% better condition than mine. We pretty much spend the same amount of time on t...

I read some people has issues with the the lines on the Duotone bar (they broke kinda fast compared to other brands). Did they change/improve that already?
Those lines are not that bad, but are not great either, given bar price. SK99 should be a standard.

Re: Duotone 2020

I want to change from Bandit 2019 to Duotone. Which kite you would chose for big boosting in strong winds and for lighter winds for foiling? Not so easy. Normally I use 6,8,10,12 Bandit 2019 and they did all quite good. I am not sure of the Dice 2020 jumps better then the Bandit or to choose the Re...
