Re: North Vegas or Dice!

I just made a jump from vegas to dice. Vegas has a much more direct feel on the bar. However dice is not bad and better than other construstions. To keep things short: dice gives you more hangtime and is easier to jump on, better for freeriding. Vegas gives you better and more aggresive pop, slack, ...

Go swimming with seals instead. They seem to quite like it too. Remeber no feeding and touching wild animals.

Re: Duotone 2020

Couldn’t agree with you more Teabagger. I wax my lines just to keep them lasting longer and it does seem to help but really I shouldn’t be doing this, as two others in the crew use Ozone and Naish and their lines are 200% better condition than mine. We pretty much spend the same amount of time on t...

I read some people has issues with the the lines on the Duotone bar (they broke kinda fast compared to other brands). Did they change/improve that already?
Those lines are not that bad, but are not great either, given bar price. SK99 should be a standard.

Re: Duotone 2020

I want to change from Bandit 2019 to Duotone. Which kite you would chose for big boosting in strong winds and for lighter winds for foiling? Not so easy. Normally I use 6,8,10,12 Bandit 2019 and they did all quite good. I am not sure of the Dice 2020 jumps better then the Bandit or to choose the Re...

Re: Duotone 2020

Had a go on a Dice 9/12. I was prety impressed. Very good and easy jumper. 12 was really easy to jump high compared to vegas 12m. Good enough unhooked for my basic set of tricks. Loops were odd, I kind of liked them but timing is different to what I am used to - looping vegases. Did not catch me on ...

Re: North kiteboarding 2020

Great kites. I went the other way but still have a fat lady. Love Blade kites. I was actually surprised, Duotone are probably still my favorite out of what I've ridden but I just can't justify the price to myself at the moment. Anyone know how much cheaper the New north kites are compared to Duoton...

Re: Duotone 2020

In case you're actually curious on the pricing thing (boring post ahead): We would love to lower prices. Our retail prices are directly based on the landed cost of finished products. Budgets for Marketing/R&D/etc come out of the other end; they are allocated by brand/category based on revenue from ...

Re: Duotone 2020

On top of that, realize that if you're reading this, you're almost certainly better informed about industry happenings than the average kiter. There are a lot of kiters who do not use online forums and who still have not heard about this brand reshuffle. If you have advice on how to reach these guy...
