Re: Manera Magma Gloves vs Mystic Supreme Gloves

Last season I used 5mm Mystic Supreme gloves and while they were okayish warmth wise, the durability was abysmal and I had to throw them away after maybe 20 sessions. So now I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with Manera's Magma gloves and especially how they compare to the Supreme glo...

Re: Which Twintip?

Airush Apex for the win. fast, skatey (if you put smaller fins), cranks upwind, handles chop well. History on me and why I like it: I learned to kite on a wakeboard (coming from a wakeboard background). Then I got a liquid force Mission (which is practically a wakeboard!!!) Kept that for way too lon...

Re: single line stretch problems

I’ll be getting a replacement bar/lines very shortly, but I’m just trying to wrap my head around the issue. These lines were new this year, however, they have 100+ hours on em Haha(Dedicated bar/lines for foil, so low stress) I’ll try experimenting some more and keeping tabs what’s going on so I can...

Re: Airush 20-21 Collection

Session is good for hooked freestyle and soft kite loops. Put the fixed bridle on and it’s solid for unhooked. Would you say the new Session is closer to the former Wave or the former Diamond? I thought the Diamond was pretty good for unhooked freestyle, with decent boosting, light bar pressure, go...

single line stretch problems

I've been getting these weird issues lately with 1 single front line stretching. (non flag line up to 4", all other lines same length) I ride a decent amount, and know that lines stretch (or shrink!!! thats a different conversation...) I'm pretty in tune with my gear and I know right away when the l...

No more Diamond in 2021?
And the Union has become their KOTA kite.

How about a kite for hooked and unhooked freestyle and "soft" kiteloops?

It’s 3D printed, but very robust material with threaded inserts.

Re: Review of Airush Ultra versus Ocean Rodeo Aluula Flite, 14m

I was out the other day in 6-7 knots on my 10m Ultra and 800cm wing. I didn't have enough juice to get going, but the kite was staying in the area. I waited for the wind for 20 min or so, didn't drop the kite at all. I think if I was on my 1300cm surf wing I could've been riding, but I brought the w...

Re: How Strong are Kite-Wave-Boards?

Check out the airush carbon Innegra boards. They’re not only bomb proof, but super light. No heel dents on mine. They’re not cheap, but, you’ll get yourself a board that will last a LONG time. I ride the Amp 5’4 carbon Innegra and LOVE it! Check out HISS, Hatteras island surf and sail. I think they’...

Re: Airush Freeride Foil 800 monocoque - Opinions?

amazing foil. I love it. it's incredibly stable for its size. Very smooth. It rises relatively early considering its size. Very efficient through the water which makes learning transitions & roll tacks much easier, especially when strapless. I highly recommend it. You will get a hair less early lift...
