Re: Airush 2024

Thanks, El Marco. That is definitely some changes to the Session! I have understood that, in general, the load frame makes the kites much more expensive to produce. But also, I think it was a very nice feature with the Airush kites.. Here in Denmark Airush is not a brand that is pushed by the retai...

Re: Airush 2024

If understood correct from the kitesurfing magazine-AWSI 2024 video: For 2024 the Session comes as " Session traditional" with dacron and with pulley-bridle, and as Session Team with Hookipa and with fixed bridle. I wonder if there is any changes to the Session Traditional (?2024? V2?) with regard ...

Re: Portland oregon

Great tips! Thank you! I had no idea about sauvies island Lots of competing priorities but the Portland algorithm solving for your inputs = CEDAR MILL 30 Minutes to Rocky Point / NW Trail Alliance for MTB 30 Minutes to Stub Stewart for MTB 30 Minutes to Sauvies Island for Kiting - It's often light m...

Re: New to foiling gear advise

I have been kiting for a while and I'm very confident rider including loops, jumps, etc on a twin tip. I decided to learn to foil this year. I got a good quiver of kites for foiling/surfing (3 Airrush Ultra kites 9-12-14) but wanted to ask you about a wing/mast/board that you can recommend to make ...

Re: Apple Watch ultra

I had a Garmin for years and recently switched to Apple Watch right before the ultra came out. oops! battery life is for sure a pain when kiting. It'll last, 3 hours maybe? In cold water it's reduced dramatically! By cold I mean water & air <10C get one of the full rubber bands that slip on, it does...

Re: How to protect hands in cold water when winging

Same as windsurfing with gloves, that was near impossible due to forearms swelling. What was working for me back then were neoprene mittens with open palms. That means that the grip on the boom/handles is mostly unaffected, and the only purpose of the glove is to protect the fingers from the wind c...
