Re: Self launch and self land option

I don't believe this bridle hook on video - could cause big forces on only few bridle-to-kite attachment point potentionally breaking something. Wind sock pre-inflate - ok, perhaps PeterLynn foil kites. Non-existent problem for other kites. Just pre-inflate by opening air vents, kites with intake me...

Re: equipment for beginners

1) price of gear is based on market price expectation. "Brand X kites in general should cost 2000 money units". Labour-cost, material-cost, central-office-cost etc are minor per kite (if brands sell big number of kites) relative to consumer price, most cost for you is the profit for importer and kit...

Re: 17m lightwind Kite + normal TT or 12m Kite + Door?

But these are just opinions and probably not suited for you. But for me it allows me to practise kiteboarding. as you said.. not great for beginners.. completely different power generation and delivery.. then there is handling those bridles, self rescue and the list goes on.. I would not touch foil...

Re: 17m lightwind Kite + normal TT or 12m Kite + Door?

I'd not waste my money on 15-19m LEI based on what I see on my kite locations. They are pigs on LW - LE heavy with does not allow them properly turn when much more balanced and more powerful foil kites can still haul my 110kg ass on water. On this video I demonstrate how 15m foil outperforms all LEI...

Re: Foil Kite - Water Self Rescue

Tomtom, I've been using exclusively foilkites for 10y since Speed3 came to market. I can use them as a sail (or call it downwind wind bag), although I've been forced to do it only once with Sonic1 so not much self rescue experience. Water launch and landing because no beach available is basic task f...

Re: Foil Kite - Water Self Rescue

Think? In taco position upper half of kite was flying meaning there was wind. Why did you not use kite as sail to go faster or with less energy downwind to beach? By itself foilboard goes at speed downwind with small waves rocking the board. Could you keep sitting on foilboard and keep shifting your...

The QR loops perfectly closed. len10 1.png You can clearly see that his hands gets close to the QR when pulling hard. Somehow he must have pulled it up slightly. len10 2.png To me by looking only these two images. On first image black and red part of qr are aligned together on long edge. On second ...

Is there an Android compatible watch that does a good job at taking phone calls when paired with your phone, while your on the water during a kite session?
Latest Samsung watch with software sim (eSIM) so you can call without the phone near-by. Your operator has to support eSIM.

I don't love flagging out but its really not a huge deal.
You could start practising towards "backstall & walking rear-lines flagging self-landing" if your beach allows that.

Basic idea is on this video:

Re: Kitecomix

At least on Android you can find kitecomix stickers for whatsapp. I've it and those are cool imo. (I am not affiliated with Kitecomix but though to advertise it).
