Flysurfer Force plastic leader line removal?

I recently purchased a new previous version Force bar. It has long clear plastic “sheaths” on the fly lines. They are a major PITA as they have to bend around the bar ends when rolling up-which also makes rolling up a treat. When setting up you have to force them back into a straight shape. The new ...

Oriental N Carolina kite spots?

We might be doing some house sitting for someone in Oriental. I know it’s a great sailboat spot but what about kiting? Can anyone speak on kite spots in that area or within short driving distance?
Thanks for any insight.

Re: Gin Marabou v2 reviews ?

Just an observation from my time on Peaks- as soon as you get in the water you have the kite totally choked (bar pulled all the way in) Foil kites in general don’t like that when starting- especially single skins. Let that bar out and let the kite fly. Dive it and pull in for your best power get up ...

Re: Peak4 vs UFO

I fly a Peak4 5 on foil and on the snow. LOVE that kite. (mostly.....) Amazing windrange on packed lake snow! Sadly though, 3 swims from hell with the Peak put me off it's charms on the water. Got a V1 6Ghost just to try. This was a serious gamechanger for me. It is practically a 1 kite quiver for f...

Re: Please Help on Flysurfer (Peak) Hybrid windrange

Peter,
As you are now in possession of 2 Hybrids- what sizes? What winds are they working in for you? Power per size similar to Peak4/5?

Re: Kiting near Burlington, NH: sandbar

Delta is out of play. Super Shallow and full of grass/milfoil. Launch is mud. Pretty gross
Sandbar is only good on North wind. White’s is packed on hot days and requires a parking permit.
Go to Plattsburgh! Sandy and clean water

Re: North 2022 Foil

Wondering if the new S270 will pair well with the original Sonar 1150. I have been waiting for new stabilizers to be released. I thought it was odd that they only had one stab for the entire foil line. The original stab never felt quite right to me but there were no other options.
