Sal Cabo Verde

Guys, a practical question, as we are opting to go to Santa Maria, Sal, this February and I was wondering if a 9-7m quiver on a TT would do the trick for myself 87kg? Or would you suggest to go bigger?

Cheers

Re: Kitesurfing waves January /mid March

You could also check out Kingfisher Pagudpud Ilocos Norte Philippines. Northern Philippines is know for sick wave conditions (8m waves is not exceptional) with winds from 20 to 45+ kts. I seriously can reccomend this area of the Philies.

Is there anyone here that has some decent info on where to stay and rent a car @ Boavista? Looking for a place to stay for 2 adults and 2 young kids.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Kiteboard Travel Tips... Splitboard The Future of Travel?

Getting a girlfreind into travelling and kitesurfing really helps. We usually travel with 4-5 kites 1 pump 2 TT' s, 1 strapless, 2 harnesses, 2 bars, 2 shorty's and some small spares like spinnacker tape and stuff to fix a bladder with maybe a spare depower line. Generally adding up to about 32kgs.....

Nearest airport would be Laoag @ approx 1:30 hrs drive. 1:30hrs flight from Manila. Also know as "the new Hawaii" for it's jaw dropping 8m+ storm waves. The little resort is...

Re: Kitesurf Holiday in January : Zanzibar, Noosa or Kingsfisher Boracay ?

If you want good wind (20-40kts+) with great possibility of big waves and flat and a totally uncrowded spot... Kingfisher is the way to go. Overcrowded Boracay sucks in compared to Kf (12 to if Lucky 20kts and choppy).

Re: Which Board to replace my thorn? Takoon or Naish?

If you are used to the naish Thorn i'd seriously would look at the Monarch instead of a very flexible beginners board, if there would be a board of the year contest this board would win it. Disreguard F-one boards, to many quality issues, personally i don't even like their feel in the water.
