they are made in slovakia

and the quality and fun factor of these boards can match any board out there.. the price is nice, the service is nice too. the only problem is the dark board graphics, that make the board easy to lose in darker waters. but the bright edge helps a bit.

i have spent a season on wood tech core 138*39. i wouldn`t call it flat rocker. it`s a pretty soft board. i don`t kite in light winds, bur for medium winds it`s a really nice choice.

The big downside to flat kites is the BRIDLE. consider also takoon HB PRO11m2.. really excellent kite :thumb: best from high and mid aspect. the only problem might be availability, since they were produced in limited quantities, as far as i understand.

sold mine a week ago and still have a feeling that have done the wrong thing :-?

nova has no problems what so ever with bar pressure  and to my mind kiteloops don`t feel on the bow kites as killing as they do on classic 4liners :-?

yeah, my comment on the velcro stopper was pretty premature.. at larger winds it does not seem to do the function, unless you place bar gently against the velcro before unspinning it. actually i had to spend an hour before getting used to the kite.. it is strange to place kite at the edge of window,...

the velcro stopper problem seems to be solved on the serial novas.. got my hands on one this morning and couldn`t activate the safety without wanting it, when the velcro stopper was closed.

maybe in larger wind? i was out in sub 20knots and dying quick to 10 :-?

what about rider height and board length? doesn`t the height of the weight center (ass) has something to do with the distance from binding to tip of the board? from what i`ve expierenced i feell very uncomfortable with boards under 128cm, since i`m 186cm. any theory under that or just personal prefe...
