As for Israel, at this season your best bet is Kineret or Eilat. Don't expect anything in the mideterranian sea until 2-3 weeks from now

No, its not something you would find on your own
Just contact any local kiter and he will tell you
keep in mind kinneret is not exactly the best place for beginners. Its gusty, and the beach is rocky.

There is no real season around here aside from the summer at the sea of gallilea (kineret)
You can get 1-2 days a week most of the year on average with varying conditions and if you care to do some travel (2-3 hours you can travel from the center practically anywhere)

No wetsuit, no west, no helmet... Any ideas how to tie it?

I plan on using it with the headstrap mount without a helmet.
Is there a good chance to loose it? Anybody lost one that way? Do you guys secure it somehow? I can't seem to find a good way of securing it (aside from using my ear for that) without it looking really nasty..
