Re: Covid vaccine

Evolution. That is what I believe is the scariest thing about a few "man made" processes implemented in the last hundred years or so. While it is a huge conversation, it boils down to - the natural world is continuing to naturally evolve, while the human species has stopped. But you must understand...

Re: Covid vaccine

Yup, that sums it up for the "feels". Let me sum up the reality for you. Millions of years of evolution, with ever changing exposure to new and old viruses, but in 2020 we are ready to remove ourselves from that due to a virus with a death rate of less than 2% of all individuals and less than .05% ...

Re: Covid vaccine

Viagra works for something it wasn't made for. Any reason to believe the results from using Ivermectin are not correct? Not really as far as I could see, and I am obviously not an expert in this...my thought would be it is way way too early in the process. Saying we already have something (meaning ...

Re: Covid vaccine

90% protection is more than sufficient if enough people take the vaccine. No need to try to throw in alternative experimental stuff when a vaccine is working. Not saying they shouldn't continue to look at it, but it is not far enough along. You are referring to a study that was done in vitro. No nee...

Re: Covid vaccine

How many high risk elderly people were in those trials? Should we wait for the next generation of vaccines if this one is too dangerous? Not saying it is. Just asking the question. Just curious about how different people evaluate risk. What kind of risks are acceptable and which ones are not. Not t...

I flew a friend's Core XR6 10m the other day for about 20 minutes. I have to say it was dull and slow compared to my 10m Pivot.
...and then you know the pivot really turns on once it is lit. It's a great kite in light wind...and a perfect kite in high winds.

Re: Pivot evolution

The bar holder is pathetic. Hey Naish put a freaking pocket at the bottom so the bar doesn't slip out..annoying!!!. I added a pocket/catch to mine with 2" velcro and some sewing, works great. Just attach the top click-in thingy through the bar floater and line, then tighten the lower pulley and the...

Re: Covid vaccine

Which is also the group of people dying from Covid-19 in Norway. I guess the same standard should apply for the vaccine as for the virus? Is it less of a problem if the vaccine only kills high risk very old people than non high risk very old people? I am not sure I understand what you mean. :D They...

Re: Covid vaccine

^^^ Wait, can you prove that the vaccine was the cause of death? No. These are super recent deaths. All deaths of people who received the vaccine will be reported and investigated. These are tier one group and the highest risk group ie. very old people. I would happily accept the vaccine today if I...
