Re: Naish Dash

Interested to know how much better jumping it is compared to the Torch. It looks quite like a Torch until you get to the wing tips. I imagine the height would be the same, but the Torch definitely lacks hang time . Why was Kevin or Jessie not riding this kite last year at King of the air ? Will the...

Re: Naish Dash

1. Smooth, more hangtime definitely. 2. Disagree about that. The kite feels light and it's technical.Compared to the Torch constant grunt could be misleading - def. better low end. Recently another test has been circulating around, they say the opposite... :) 3. Easier. Less punchy though. 4. Accor...

Re: Pivot Quiver recommendations?

1) I would personally look at what kite I use the most. That's the problem with traveling to kite, it's season and spot dependent, sometimes I'm glad I pack around the 17. 2). and you do not say how much you weight and what type of TT riding you do mainly,? 185#, freestyle. 3) My only concern would...

Re: Join the cause - stop kite theft

Well if someone that are good at frontend I would be willing to put some time into making a backend for "a register your kite system". I have thought about this already and think it might be worth while. Maybe.

Just keep in mind that the Pivot is more powerful than your Park. 8m Pivot has the range of the 9m Park. I took a meter less on all sizes when I went from Park to Pivot.
This is a good point for sure. Pivot definitely is more powerful than the parks.

Re: Pivot Quiver recommendations?

The 10 pivot is magic for TT riding. I love the 9 for surfboard, but going lit and jumping on the 10 is awesome. It is a bit wind / spot dependent and you do not say how much you weight and what type of TT riding you do mainly, but there is definitely overlap between the 12 and 9, but its a lot more...

Re: Is strapless overrated?

Strapless is great, strapped also :thumb: Literally, the only ones that will argue with this are people who only do one of them. It might just be the dumbest argument in the world. However we are on page 15 and I still do not understand how this becomes a topic of more than 3 answers....all of whic...

Re: naish pivot question

5. Kiteloops = worlds apart.. torch is full power big loops, pivot is...well pivoty and not powered I loooove looping the pivot. It has more than enough power for me. Compared to the Torch is definitely pulls less hard, but looking at Langeree its not exactly gutless in terms of horizontal pull. La...

Re: naish pivot question

The torch has remarkably good low end, but nothing close to the pivot. Not only does that pivot have a wider overall range IMO, It also has a lot more comfortable to ride in the upper ranges....especially since where I usually ride its very gusty at the upper ranges. But it does use more throw than ...

Re: naish pivot question

I'm a long time Naish Torch rider and borrowed by friends 2019 Naish Pivot 9m yesterday. The wind was strong 27moh with gusts of 38mph and I was getting some great boost and float.... but that Naish bar...grrr... The throw on the pivot ATB bar (60cm ish) is just stupid, I am 6:2ft (189cm) and was s...
