Yes. Naish changed those. They are now in metal and you should be able to get that metal piece from your dealer. I am assuming you'll get them for free.

Re: Factory trim setting for Naish ATB bars?

THats a great writeup BillyGoatGruff. I would perhaps add that if you want to set the bar correct, before you test it on the kite make sure your front and back lines are the same length. Attach front and backlines to a fixed point, power it up, and sheet in. Now you should feel pressure on the backl...

Re: Naish 2021

Anyone problems with the 2021 monarch fins? I lost already lost one. screws are getting lose after a session. You cannot turn the screws tight anymore. Screw thread is gone. I thought they would have locktite on them to make sure it doesn't loosen. If they do not, then get some from the hardware st...

Re: Which Twintip?

The monarch is my all time favorite board. If you can get a 2020 in good condition, I would jump. The bigg advantage of the monarch is its ability to let you stay in control in chop.
It is a bit stiff and serious about jumping. I like that board sooo much.

Re: Torn biceps tendon, perhaps holding bar incorrectly

I'm with EDT on this. My rotator cuff is screwed (actually partially both), but no bicep tendon problems, but it happens when landing with outstrethched arms and when leaning on the arm because I drag in the water on fast bottom turns, and stick it on the water off the top of the wave. It has cause ...

Re: Use a wavekite with a twintip?

Hell yes. It is also a good option because it tends to be a tad more stable. I love the 7 slash for lit TT riding. I dunno about the kite you are asking, but generally I would think most wave oriented kites would have similar qualities?

Re: Kitemare warning about crossed lines!

Wow glad it went relatively well. Having had this happen you can fix this in the water, especially on a light wind day. Whenever this has happened to me in the past I have made sure I did not let go of the bar with both hands, and never powered up fully. But definitely a good reminder that accidents...

Re: Naish Ride

Nice. You will have an easy time jumping this kite. You can even jump it sheeting in. The kite jumps well and has easy loops to boot (once you get there). Once of the reasons strapless surfboard riders like this kite is that they can jump by sheeting with out moving the kite too much. On a TT to tak...

Wow. I thought I was in isolated spot. Bergen, Norway is out there...next stop Lofoten.

Come on. Skåne is way more isolated than Bergen. Also, Lofoten is about a 4 hr flight from Bergen.

Re: Kitesurf buddies Bergen

I think the biggest spot outside of Bergen Norway is Herdla by Askøy. Do not go out if you're there alone.
