Re: Ozone Alpha V1 vs Naish Boxer 2020

The question is does it make a huge difference 0.5kg in lightwind (7-9 knots)? In 7 knots 0.5 kg is a lot. I always try to sail with less wind and I can ride with 12 ultra and long lines when people use 18m race kites o ozone hyperlinks...these have to fight in lulls and bow ties while my kite cope...

Re: Ozone Alpha V1 vs Naish Boxer 2020

Peter is so right, if you have a kite with a grate low end, very light weight and it don't eject you in each sheeting...you have a Airush Ultra. The perfect LEI kite for foiling, at least for me.😉

10m weighs 2.45 kg

Re: Airush Ultra V2 smaller size

I have 14, 12, 9, 6 and 4 mts ultras. I use 6m in 15 knots and 4 mts in 18 knots. Awesome kites. All this with a Moses 633 wing. I weight 83 kg dry.

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Found this on youtube. I believe its the the 14.5m. https://youtu.be/mz9YWgL8NK8 From the flags that looks like 6-8 knots, amazing that thing still loops! We are already riding in 6-8 knots with a 12 mts tube kite. These kites can fly in lulls of 4 knots moving the kite...you need to ride a hydrofo...

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Interesting about the even-lighter “gold” color aluula... A little foreshadowing of 2021 perhaps. People have said why not make it even lighter if its so strong? maybe leaving room to do just that in subsequent years... ...or perhaps if a OR is no significant ligh why buy a pricey Aluula kite?..the...

Re: Discover the Ocean Rodeo 2020 kites - Our lightest range yet

Did I miss the actual weights? Although the Roam’s design remains familiar in Gen 3, the kite’s flying weight has been greatly reduced (weighing-in lighter than most single strut kites), improving its performance not just in light wind, but in all wind conditions. No weights, just a heavy marketing...

I rode both the 10m Roam and 14.5m Flite at the AWSI event last week.
