Looks like KeNalu has 2018 close out sale. %50 of their foils. $673 for a full carbon rig. The mast is only 68cm but I have heard they will be releasing longer masts. No affilitian with KeNalu. Just a happy customer for their paddles. Thinking about trying hydrofoiling and may stay with the brand. A...
Thanks. By the way, how do you like your Ke Nalu foils for kitesurfing? Hi Stevez Where did you get 87cm mast for Kenalu? Thanks I got it from Kenalu directly. Their stock mast is 66cm, but they can make different sizes to order, at least they did for me. Up to max 90 I think. Makes a big difference.
Hi Stevez Where did you get 87cm mast for Kenalu? Thanks I'm not sure if there are 2 or 3 styles in 2018. I'm not sure if general free riding, mainly on flat water, counts as a separate style to wave riding on a sup / surf foil. If it's on bigger wings and smaller kites, I suppose they're pretty clo...
This board has been a revelation for me in small/medium waves and in any wind conditions, including light winds. I have a 5'4 and it seems to start going as soon as my kite has enough power to stay in the air without working it. And it keeps working when I am fully powered on my 6m. http://www.fcdsu...
I would not agree that if you are over 100kg you rarely use 9m and below. It all depends on your style and skill. I am 105kg. My quiver is 10/8/6. Granted, I am only on surfboards but my most used kite is 8m. When it is 20 knots or over I will be on 8m. I would not call 20 knots a very rare wind. By...
My twintip is Cabrinha Ace 141x43, most used kite is 10m. I used 8m three times this year in the winds > 25kts. I can use 12m starting from 14kts to stay upwind. My kites are all Slingshot Rallys. The wind range I kite the most is 18-28kts. I just want to see how to properly scale the quiver when y...
Why would anyone want to go strapless in crappy waves? Crappy small, as in closeout, no distance from one to the next, and no organization = great place to practice strapless! Yes, you will go slower strapless, and not be able to do as much as you could strapped. But when the waves get bigger, and ...
