Re: Safe Jump Height

Yea, sorry, there is no safe height. You can get slammed unconscious just catching a piece of chop with a toeside edge with no jump at all. That, however, is no reason to stop riding or jumping.
How far do you want to go? How much do you want to risk?

Re: Why isn't sliding rope bar more prevalent?

Like almost everything in this sport, it is all very personal. Depends on conditions and how you want to ride. For me, I’ve been using a rope for a couple of years on surfboards (strapped & strapless) and foil. I like it but use a shorter rope (doubled) so it doesn’t slide as far. Still get the bene...

Re: Unintended suicide mode on Core sensor 2+ bars

It’s been said before but quit dicken’ around and get a bar that works. Every time.... Every time. +1 on the Ozone bar. Works. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do for me. No more, no less. Best thing I can say about it is I never notice it. and the qr has worked flawlessly the twice I needed it. A...

Re: Board rescue

Thanks for posting these. I’m sure it will help keep people safer.
I find the easiest way to grab a board if it is straps up is to ride just downwind of it toe-side slowly and grab the front strap as you go by and dive the kite. No need to stop and fool around with the board on your lap.
