Re: Core Sensor Bar 3 release

I own 3 Core (an old one, a Sensor and a Sensor 2 pro) and 2 FS bars (the Infinity that came with my Speed 5 21 and the new one that came with my Sonic 3 13). Could not test the new FS due to Covid but the overall impression is that the Sensor pro remains light years ahead. It’s soooo light (no comp...

Re: covid 19 closing beaches, any more to report?

The article is imo correct but it does not consider a crucial point. If X% of the population, old and arleady ill, need emergency unit care, the national health normally just don’t have so many artificial respirator fitted beds. At that point, you have to choose who has the right to access to the re...

Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

For sure. It is really a global disaster, economic effects are yet to come and they are going to be very very heavy.

Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

Some news from Italy: in the next few days, for sure in Lombardy but can be in the whole Country, everything will stop with the excetpion of chemists and food shops. I also think it's the only way to stop the pandemia. At the moment workers can move with a permission. Some are clever, they just work...

Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

Lombardy in general, that means also Gera Lario (where I live during summer) and Domaso. For the moment, in northern lake no "local" cases. Some people is under therapy in Como and Lecco, few cases in Valtellina.

Re: Sonic/Soul/Peak - 8 and 6 knots lightwind foiling

@fermanus: ~10-12 kgs. less than you. About personal weight, it does make the difference. Two years ago I was 80-81 and as you correctly say, 9 knots minimum to mow the lawn. At 10 kgs less, 7 knots (I repeat, 7 steady, that means it's not gusting 5 to 9, it means that on the beach the anemometer te...

Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

I live in northern Italy. Situation is absolutely not good. At the moment we can't travel and also for small transfers we must demonstrate they are necessary for working. In any other case we are obliged to stay at home. Pubs and restaurant only works from 6 am to 6 pm and there must be at least 1 m...

Re: Vertigo while Kiting?

I hope your case is easier than mine but it's 3 years I'm bouncing between neurologists and examinations, no way to understand why I suffer of vertigo, not only when kiting. In the beginning I was really suffering the situation, especially when driving. Now I'm quite "accustomed" to the problem, so ...

Re: Sonic/Soul/Peak - 8 and 6 knots lightwind foiling

Speed 5 21 + big door, 7 STEADY knots and I can ride. Mr. SBH (Swimming back home) is always a companion in these sessions :-))) I don't foil but some friends of mine with foils are not using very big sails anymore, 15 mts max. When they can't ride with a 15 and a foil it' means it's really no wind,...
