Re: 3D mapping of tricks and accurate height

Yeah, be good on the new xperia but I've tested Apples Iphone and I'm just going to add... Its not waterproof. Why not create a device that had a simple sealed unit with a power source and radio transmitter? I for one would not want to be strapping my phone onto me every session waterproof or not!

Re: Kite looping?

Looping the kite to give you a soft landing after a jump is sometimes referred to as a heli-loop Can anyone please describe this type of loop with detail. I would like to pull the trigger on a loop during a jump but have not had the courage to do so. Any help via written instructions will be highly...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Ah stop it you guys I get on one until December!! Question to users, how do they loop, mechanics please been doing this for 13 years, don't just say ' real good', and does it hunt the edge of the window, I assume it does with all that boost potential. Don't mind Dimitri answering but also like the ...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

I looked at buying a 10 ltd when they first came out - demoed it a few times. It was no where near as good as the 10HP at the time - not even close. Put me off to be honest. I am keen to try the newer kites in particular screamers and the infinity as I am in the market but we have representation he...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Thought I would share a video showing how grunty the 2012 3g Screamer LTD 10m is! Ranged from 11 to tops 14 in the gusts. Average was 12 knots I was on a 129cm board @ 67kg.

I know I'm not the best kiter but this shows off the lightwind potential!

Enjoy

Re: ozone C4 11m vs 12m

Infinity v1 or 2? Why not go the screamer 10? Incredible range... At your weight it's good for 15-35 (I weigh 65kg and have had it out in near 40 knots) 30 will be comfortable at a guess. I only get my screamer 7 out if its holding over 30 solid. Slightly bigger wind range and unhookable up to low 2...

Re: Epic Chicken Loop (3G)

funny everyones bringing up ozone bars, Currently using one for my screamers and LOVING it. Found the epic bar wasn't as durable and as a few people have mentioned about the center line wear, could be better. Interested in seeing what D & Momi have done with this bar, will be getting the chicken loo...

Re: light wind kiting

Big board + efficient strokes! Combination of the two can make for great fun if you enjoy mowing the lawn! May not be up to the level of kite loops but looping after a turn or to start can be a great way of gaining momentum. 8-9 knots on a 10M today on a 146 UG Stella going upwind @ 65kg. Just need ...
