Re: Wetsuit can't decide - Mystic Legend vs Rip Curl Flash Bomb

I have had both, and for an equivalent for the only reason to get the Legend is if it is (much) cheaper. They both later about the same, but the f bomb is warmer and more flexible

Re: Shorten Naish Bar

Hello Runner, Did you figure out how to shorten the newer version bar? I am thinking to get 8m Dash but it seems too fast to unhook with the standard 55cm sized bar. However, there's an option to use the 50cm but I have to buy it separately, unfortunately I don't like BTB, which is the only option (...

Re: Depower Lines Wear, Strength, Replacement

I have no idea about Best lines, but Naish do not have the internal lines shown by Gyre on Flysurfer

Re: Why two regular shaped twintips?

@ Taught, too true, too funny, my bad! These days, even great lakes dwellers usually have more than one. @ Matteo, I'll get flamed for this, and really did try not to comment, but some things must be said. You are having fun..... good on you, but that is the kookiest shit I have seen since Toby's e...

Re: Recommendations for medium-rockered freestyle/wakestyle board

Naish Monarch or North/Duotone Hadlow?

The Monarch is fast, low rocker.

The Hadlow has a bit more rocker, easier to pop (for me) but slower. It also has a grind base.

Both nice boards

Re: Kite Hostels in Nordeste (Ceara), Brazil?

Be aware that for a light guy those kites are big for Brazil. At 100kg I had the same sizes, and I was there later in the year when the wind was lighter. Heading North the wind gets stronger, so I would suggest you focus on Cumbuco and South. No specific hostels sorry.

Re: Cooperatively Complex Kiting Quiver Question

Easily doable, but I would revisit your spacing. 19m to 15m is a relatively small gap, 6m to 9m is huge (it is the % difference in size that matters). Having said that (and what I did for my wife and my quiver) was start with the ideal size for each of you in your typical conditions, then decide on ...

Re: Shorten Naish Bar

Thanks Nikolay. I was thinking of the 2018 bar

However, I do still have an older bar like the one you have modified, if I can't work out how to do the newer one I might try that

Shorten Naish Bar

Has anyone tried cutting a Naish bar shorter? I like the thin bar, seems to be easier on me my elbow than a thicker one such as Ozone. The adjustable ends, stiff chicken loop and free-er swivel are also better (for me) than the Ozone bar, but it is a bit too long.
